to be honest, those two were probably big influences on its design.
The other were bone diagrams and the cool factor.

Here, have another three OCs I made for an unrealized comic about space pirates. You can see how I once unironically thought furries were cool enough that they get their own spacefaring species that's ruled under one government that is somewhere between Big Brother and Soviet Russia. The other is a female-shaped cyberwoman whose species originated from the females of an ancestor species who left their homeworld because the males are too warlike for their homeworld (the males survived the destruction of the homeworld and became another species of machine-men), and the females ended up as space nomads-slash-femme fatales who mimic human females. The other one is just a plain old human with augments and bandage on his face.

And this is from 2008, by the way.

Some people can do that. Haven't you ever heard of savants or real actual autists like Stephen Wiltshire? They have amazing ultimate advanced 'drawing' talents that aren't taught but still incredible.

However the problem with art 'Talent' is that it's always limited, like a gimmick. Wiltshire can draw entire city streets from memory but if you asked him to draw a portrait or human he'd be no better than anybody and probably draw stick figures. The point stands anyhow, barring any major learning disabilities on your part (or, I don't know, Alzheimers) It's worthwhile to start practicing anything you have a strong desire to get good at. you might have less time to waste on /co/ though
