The only part I regret of the Marvel/Disney deal.

Such a good cartoon had to die for the MCU though, so I guess the sacrifice wasn't that bad. Like killing the most beautiful virgin for the volcano to not kill us all for another 10 years.

The show was alright, with one really good episode, a few decent episodes, and a lot of meh episodes. The high school dynamic was shit, the character dynamics were lifeless, the lore was forgettable, and the only good part, the visuals and action, feels stunted by the giant robot premise, to the point where every time we see them actually fighting on foot the show becomes way better.

It could have gone places, sure, but you're supposed to figure that shit out in the first few episodes, not the first season.

And this comes from a person who loved Clone Wars and Samurai Jack.
