I mean, my dad was in and out of jail my whole life and my mother was addicted to pills so I made a vow to be better than them so I'd assume in a comics universe Batman would have adopted me.

Found out I had developed metastatic pancreas cancer.
Break into the CDC and infect myself with every level 5 biohazard disease and toxin I can.
Die and return to life as a Ghoul with plague aura and pretty much roam around as an immortal harbinger of doom.

Eventually get killed for good when people decide vaccinating their kids is a good idea and, my mission of bettering the world through population control and proper health care complete, I suicide into a volcano.
