what are some good X-men runs that focus on the X team rather than a single character nothing else matters just as long as its team oriented i don't care if they have issues that focus on a single person just as long as the plot thickens from team efforts
>good
>xmen

Hi Marvel
>>84944397
Claremont up to 90s
X-Men stuff by Yost (X-Force, New X-Men etc)
Peter David's X-Factor runs
Curse of the Mutants was nice
Ummm... I know there's more, someone might bring it up before I remember it.
Morrison's run on New X-Men does that

here, I'd say avoid >>84946626
morrison just doesn't get X-Men
Also you're welcome
Uncanny X-Force is breddy great.
It has a Wolverine goes and kills a Nazi episode.
It's not exactly "X-Men", so much as a mutant assassin squad, but it features some great stuff.

I disliked NXM, but I'd say read it to see what the hubub is.
Nice 4's lads.

this guy knows, I spent a summer getting into capeshit, I chose X-men comics from the year 2000 and on, much shit but some really entertaining reads in-between, thanks to the great X-Men storytimes on /co/ I've come to like capeshit and not just edgy stuff like crossed and walking dead that got me into comics.

Aside from everything mentioned here, Milligan's X-Force/X-Statix is a must read.

Hey, you're welcome anon! It's been a fun ride.

Good move, getting into capes.
The best stuff is usually what's ignored by the executives and big names for a while. I'm surprised X-Men had the decent runs it had some years back.
Also, you reminded me of that X-23 run featuring Jubes and Gambit was better than expected. Not a team book, though, or I'd recommend it as well.
Isn't that all of them? The whole point is it's a team comic.

Last few years were Cyclops and his Uncanny Followers.
Thankfully, we're past that.

>Last few years
Dude, that was the original Five team dynamic. And after the Giant-Sized replacement team showed up Cyke was still the go-to OP guy. And he propped up the original five again in X-Factor.
They might have drifted away from that before you were born or whatever but it's not a new thing.
The X-Men used to be the Cyclops show, with a disturbing amount of Professor X being creepy scenes.
