As for this bit it's a whole mess of things from the Iron Man series, Avengers and this. Tony has a lot of issues and he's easily triggered into this week's midlife crisis by the slightest thing.
He also really has like two friends, one of who decided she's about done with his chaotic lifestyle and left. When he feels like his play time with his new friends costed some black kid touring a terrorist shit hole, and said club house was splitting up and everyone on the prom king's side hates him and most people on Tony's side didn't really like him but didn't really have a choice in the matter. Well it just wasn't a good week.

On the contrary. This was an accurate portrayal of Clint and Tony in comics.

And that's why the movie is better than the comic. You can relate to Tony's motives in the fight while in the comic you just think of him as an asshole because he acted like an Asshole for several issue.

It is important to note that Bucky looks autistic because he was more than a murder, he was robot like, programmed, forced. He is a broken man.

The only way to make a Marvel Civil War "work" is to have the characters act out of character. The comics took it to an insane degree, so much so that it makes the movie seem good in comparison.

You can see the moment the movie goes to shit. It's the moment Steve is about to sign the Accords, and he discovers that Wanda is being detained in Avengers Tower. They could easily have stopped the movie there, but that one little detail sends Steve packing and things snowball immediately after.

Capt and MUH BUCKY DID NUFFIN got everyone involved cause they were fooled into thinking there was some bigger threat.

Cap was in the wrong.

The moment the realized Zemo killed the other winter soldiers Cap should have immediately surrendered to Tony.

There was no threat and he destroyed an airport, and all his friends are international terrorist because of a hunch that was wrong.

There is and was, even if you think Zemo not activating but assassinating the Winter Soldiers somehow erases that problem not only does Zemo represent a dire security risk the Avengers have neglected to notice and deal with, especially given what one man like Zemo managed to accomplish with so little, but Hydra's bases and operations are also not remotely as resolved as they thought.

Without following Steve's lead the Avengers would have just sat on their ass and those problems weren't going to go away for their convenience. Ross certainly wasn't going to investigate anything.

I fucking love this movie because it actually DID draw out sides among people.

They were both right and they were both wrong, you need to finally accept that.

Cap was right in that being answerable to others meant having to deal with people like Ross, who really only wanted to use the Avengers as a tool and was a blind and vindictive shit who didn't really care about people's innocence.
Cap was wrong to do things the way he did instead of surrendering themselves to Stark and trusting his friend to help him do the right thing.

On the other had, Stark was right that they needed to stick together and needed some kind of accountability for all their power, knowing that -in time- they would be able to get that and still operate nearly with the same level of freedom to help people in need and work with governments getting things done.
Stark was wrong in how he handled it, not doing more to stand up for Cap's position against people like Ross, who was clearly just out for blood
