Is this the most clickbaity event Marvel has ever done? Everything about it seems engineered to attract casuals
>HERO (Avengers! Yes, those guys from the movies!) VS HERO (X-Men! Your nostalgic favorites!)
>Quick, snappy abbreviated title (AvX)
>Cover that looks like a Capcom game
>Issues named after rounds because they're fighting yo! It's epic, bro!!
>Forcing the Phoenix into it because Dark Phoenix Saga, amirite??
>Some of Marvel's best artists (and JRJR) plus flashy colors
I have points that argue against yours but honestly I just can't bring myself to type them out
You're probably right anyways though
This event sucked
the current event sucks
Everything sucks

There are only two event comics that can be considered good, Crisis on Infinite Earths and Annihilation.

Give it a few months, anon. Marble hasn't quite reached absolute zero yet and we'll just have to suffer a bit longer until their sales start to tank before they course correct.
I mean *really* tank like Convergence + DCYou back to back forced some serious changes and resulted in Rebirth actually being pretty fucking good for the most part. Right now Rebirth is kicking CWII's ass and I've literally not spoken with a single person on or offline who has anything nice to say about this upcoming shitstorm (both because no one give two shits about Inhumans AND this is Yet Another Hero Vs Hero Because Reasons Event) so, for their own good, I really really hope this bombs like a motherfucker.

This is really an upcoming event? Jesus christ
I guess the X-Men just flat out lose since fucking everyone is an Inhuman now

>This is really an upcoming event?
I couldn't make this shit up, anon:

>I guess the X-Men just flat out lose
Given that the air on Earth is *literally* toxic to Mutants (Rogue has "Cloud Cancer" in Uncanny Avengers and Dazzler Thor showed up for one arc in A-Force and then fucking DIED from the shit while our Dazzler also has it as bad or worse than Rogue does) and has apparently rendered all of them sterile as well (Storm told Tean in EXM that there were no new Mutants being born or manifesting since the T-Cloud) it's hard not to see it as gearing up to pull a Fantastic Four. It's already Decimation/No More Mutants 2.0 as is.
>>84916795
that cover is literally the only good thing about the event
>>84920290
It was a shitty tie-in comic but Gambit getting pasted by Cap was enjoyable
>>84918766
Infinity Gauntlet says hi.
>>84920144
>Marvel mentions Terrigenocide book
>MARVEL DOESN'T HATE X-MEN, NOBODY KNOWS WHAT IT COULD BE! Marvelshills jumped
>IT'S JUST TIE-IN TO GAME!
>day after we get Inhumans vs X-Men
>>84916795
WELL, one could say that it really did change marvel forever, too bad that for worse
Was going to make an argument on how it isn't that bad. But after thinking about it a bit, it really is awful. I can't think of any way to defend it.

>I read it for art
Works every time.
It was Bendis best work yet, a true masterpiece.

And Marvel wants us to like the Inhumans?
