Clunky, but not bad. Sometimes it gets bumped up and later seasons get a permanent bump.

It does a good job of streamlining the years of X-Men canon into something a little more comprehensible. Binge-watch the first season, then see if you feel like continuing. Be warned: there's a fair amount of Wolverine wank in quite a few episodes.

Still the best X-Men cartoon imo, animation can be pretty choppy as with every cartoon Marvel did in the 90's but the way they adapted whole arcs from the comics is peerless. Give it a shot, I watched it recently and it held up pretty well. Better than Evolution, if you ask me.

It's a good show for kids, but as an adult, it's really hard to watch. The animation is mediocre, it's kinda dated, the episodes are too simplistic sometimes... it's not bad, but it's a kids show and it shows.

Is Claremont's run the best Xmen series?

But truthfully all of the Xmen shows are pretty good and worth watching
Both TAS and Evo are dated in their own ways and it shows
Wolverine isn't as dated and has the best animation but it also was shortest
