Wordgirl, easily. It wasn't on when I was a kid, but I happened to catch some in high school, that show's fucking hilarious.

It's the real spiritual successor to the Powerpuff Girls.

Cyberchase
Wild Kratts
Word Girl
Animalia

I will never get over Time Warp Trio not getting another season. I had made myself a fake "The Book" when I was a kid and I have no idea what happened to it.

Mad Jack episodes were always hype. And it was always exciting for me seeing how they'd escape death or being wiped from existence every episode.

The best part of Wild Kratts is the in between segments with Chris and Martin.

They have barely aged in 20 years
>>
>>84914876
So that's what that was called. Damn.

>>
>>84918147
Zoboomafoo is the worst thing they've done. It's a dumbed down version of Kratts Creatures on a contained set.

Aside from the blue cartoon thing, the original Kratts Creatures was them exploring areas and all the education was presented in a better manner despite it being a kids show

Zoboomafoo is a petting zoo show with a really bad muppet dancing around. Even as a kid I hated it

This show took place over the course of the revolution which was what, seven years, give or take? I think she might've been 14 at the start of the show, but was definitely in her twenties by it's end.
Tbh though, their exact ages are never mentioned, and I think intentionally kept vague

Does anyone else remember that episode where the daughter lion read a sad story and almost killed her brother?

So, what happened was, the story was about this guy who was thirsty as fuck. He was wondering the desert with his best friend who was a bird, right? I think it was an eagle or something, and the dude was super dehydrated. Anyhow, after days, they find a waterfall, and the guy fills up his cup with water, but every time he goes to drink it, the bird knocks it out of his hands. After the third time, he gets so fed up he fucking kills the bird - his best friend mind you - by cutting it down with his sword. And so, he goes to get another drink, but he notices a snake behind the waterfall dripping its venom into the water. If he had drank the water, he would have died, and the bird was just trying to warn him. The end. I guess the lesson is "Your friends might have a good reason for being dicks; so don't kill them."

So, anyway, yeah, the daughter lion read this, and she goes full Tumblr. She thinks the story is so sad, that no one else should ever read it. Her brother is like "What the fuck are you doing? That's the property of the library. Put it back, bitch."

And she doesn't want to put it back, she wants to hide it away from the world. But her brother is really dedicated to the library, so he keeps trying to put the book back in case other people want to read it. In the end, they get into this big fight, and his sister is about to strike him down, killing him, until she remembered the lesson she learned from the book. She then sadly tells her brother to put the book back, so that other people can read it, and perhaps they'll learn the same lesson she did, and won't make the same mistake she almost made.

Like, Jesus Fuck, I don't know who thought that would be a good idea for an episode, but it certainly stuck with me all these years. So bravo, writers, bravo.

Peg+Cat

I don't think I've ever seen and educational cartoon as adorable and charming. It treats children's intelligence with respect, and they even squeeze in some jokes/gags adults can appreciate every episode.

I remember Leona reading that story, but I don't recall of that happening. Maybe the swears and hyperbole is messing with my memory on this.
>>
>>84921684
Well, at the end of the episode, they got into a fight, the screen kind of went all shaky / blurry and she had a moment of realization, and said the story needed to be read by others, despite it being sad, because of the lesson she learned from it.

It's not like she actually attacked her brother or anything, due to her having the epiphany during the fight before it could escalate (they were both struggling over the book), but given the content of the story, it made it seem like that had she not learned that lesson, she WOULD have killed him, which I always found to be a weird implication.
>>
>>84921726
Yeah, that sounds more like how it happened.
