All this is to say nothing of the fact it scientifically would not work, Doomsday could not and would not evolve simply by being cloned. That's not how adaptation works, and if the scientist magically performed some method that allowed it to the repeat exposure to harsh environments served no purpose.

Like, I'm enjoying these Superman comics with post-Crisis Supes well enough but I really liked New 52 Superman and him getting killed off and replaced to appease people that never even gave him a chance just bums me out.

The Final Days of Superman cross-over was written by Peter Tomasi, a man who wrote Wonder Woman as an autistic murderous cunt without no empathy that had to be schooled by Superman about the importance of mortal lives and that was in love with Superman.

You've to pay attention to the writers.

For example Pak in Action Comics wrote Superman pining for Lana Lang, paying almost no attention to Wonder Woman.

Scott Lobdell in Superman wrote Superman being torn between his love for Lois and his relationship with Wonder Woman. He also turned Wonder Woman and Orion's kiss, something that she did in her ongoing under Brian Azzarello just to push Orion's buttons, into a romantic kiss.

Geoff Johns in Justice League wrote Superman and Wonder Woman as two lonely and alienated metas who got together out of loneliness and desperation.

Soule in Superman/Wonder Woman wrote Wonder Woman as a bitch-y girlfriend who couldn't understand the need for Superman's double-lives and secrecy, with the couple constantly bickering about things. They were also super in love despite Superman having enough of Wonder Woman's bullshit.

I'm really rather liking this Superman run so far. IMO Jon is adorable and it's been fun to see the older wiser Supes drop tons of references to pre-Nu52.

REALLY glad they aren't going to do a WW/Lois love drama. I honestly thought they would be doing that and have WW be a massive bitch over things. Pleasantly surprised to see that they are killing any idea of that quickly.

Oh, that's for sure. DC already doesn't bother with things like trying to make sense of their timeline, much least they're gonna work towards having a consistent potrayal of a relationship when it involves coordinating so many titles. In that sense, having Lois or even Lana, Steve, as the love interests it's always going to be easier, since then it gets contained to their own titles.

Really, I'd commend it to them if they'd put some real effort into making it SM/WW consistent in and across all their titles, but alas here we are, deleting mistakes instead.
