Not a bad issue, but doesn't look promising anymore with Venditti reversing the status quo completely. No Soranik as the leader of SCs, no Hal one man corps. I liked Space hobo Hal and his crew.

Ugh, why. What was the point of making him old for all of 1.5 issues when he could just have absorbed Parallax from the start.

They should be forced to work together instead, Hal can fuse together their central batteries or something.

I'm glad the art isn't complete and total ass anymore. Towards the end of the nu52 the art for all the lantern books started looking worse than anything I've seen in the last decade.

During the Sinestro solo book Sinestro almost burned himself out killing an old immortal guardian that was the leader of an anti emotion cult, in the last issues he gave his daughter control of most administrative responsibilities of his corps because he was extremely weakened and decrepit. He still holds a position of great respect among the sinestro corps so while he may not be the leader in name they gladly follow him.

There are two outcomes here:

-Natu abandons her father and rejoins the GLC. Since Hal and Natu have almost never interacted, this would be the first chance to actually develop a dynamic.

-SInestro dies during this arc, Natu is so angered that she takes over the Sinestro Corps and becomes FemSinestro.

Either way, the sexual tension will be undeniable.
