You're just a pair of neckbears. Sure,some episodes were terrible,but overtall the series is quite good. Take present they weren't thinking of basement dwellers like us for their target public.

I fucking loved the dragon themed Top Gun episode. The show is packed with tons of pop references meant for the parents to get, while everything else goes to the kiddies.

The artstyle is actually really good in motion. Discovered this a bit late though.

It's also got Totally Spies levels of fetish pandering.

There's a few good gags.

This show is just really boring, but I'm not sure why.

I watched an episode once and I had zero interest to watch more.
The designs are ugly (though, they do look interesting in motion), the plot is eh, and I don't care for any of these characters.

Penn himself doesn't really have any faults aside from being the goofy hero, but always seems he can get the job done by being that way anyways
the fat friend doesn't really do anything besides being the "chill" friend, that's in no way a counter to Penn's character
same with the girl character, except being the "responsible one", he use can be performed by a mission report

Given the talent on this show, the result was extremely disappointing. The writing is plodding and the visuals are difficult to read in motion. But what hurt it the most was not having a proper first episode until mid-season. Every episode begins in the middle of nowhere. We have no idea what the characters are doing because there's no proper set up. It's really hard to give a shit about what these characters do.
