I found it kinda weird how she said "I was only 17" when she was 18 one year later in college.

In retrospect, she probably woke up the next morning after prom thinking "did I really try to have sex with a 50 year old man? What the hell was I thinking?!?!?!" Plus, anons in another thread mentioned she must have been freaked out that Bojack drove 36 hours to Oberlin, Ohio, presumably just to have a second chance to screw Penny, who would be barely legal college poontang. Or, maybe she was just super embarrassed about herself.

The real question is, will she tell Charlotte? And what will come of the "Friend in Hospital for Alcohol Poisoning" subplot?

This season was the first one that had lasting "bummer" impact. The past two were great, but they ended on a somewhat uplifting note. Season 1 ends with a horse kid telling Bojack that he idolizes him, and season 2 ends with him thinking "Maybe I really can get better".

This one ends with Bojack alienating everyone who ever cared for him, and indirectly killing Sara. I made a horrible mistake watching it in the morning, and then felt bummed for the rest of the day.

If they do end it at 5 seasons (and they can keep up the quality), I hope they end it on an uplifting note. Not mega-happy or course, but a mild comfy ending like season 2 would be nice.

He didn't happen to run into her while doing something else: he purposefully tracked her down and secretly watched her going about her day.
