I admit I was pretty pissed yesterday but that was due to my own expectations more than anything. Needed to do some rampant anonymous venting and then go think about it for awhile.

I'm okay with it now. It's not what I was hoping for but that's not necessarily a bad thing. As other anons have said I can see how this could turn out interesting and tie in more to Englehart's bizarre vision of the character.

I still wish he would mine the existing GOTG material a bit more but it's his prerogative, I'll do my best to judge the movie on its own merits.
