Thea is the only one that has ever been shown to be near Ollie's level. Roy jobbed every time with no exceptions, Laurel jobbed a lot, Sarah was actually trained, this trailer shows his new recruits getting the shit beat out of them in a 3 to 1 fight against Ollie, and Dig tends to do well when he's army man but as a hero he tends to job a lot.

The show has been shit but Thea is the only one that this is really valid for.

Ollie tells Waller to shove it and goes to Russia. I have no faith left in the flashbacks.

In season 4? He's... present a lot? He seems like he's doing a whole lot at first. And then his scenes start getting hijacked. Felicity's always there, even when she's in the lair doing basically magic instead of the more grounded hacking of the first couple seasons. Thea had a storyline where her mortal wound kept acting up if she didn't murder people. Diggle's brother was around and Diggle had a brother who was his brother and also a bad guy but was he really a bad guy? Turns out Diggle's brother was a bad guy. Also Laurel was present. I don't think she had anything special to herself in season 4 until she died, and Felicity hijacked that. The next episode she hijacked Diggle feeling guilty about Laurel dying. That fucking happened. Oliver just kind of bumbled through fighting a bad guy with nearly unbeatable magic powers while also bumbling through a mayoral campaign where people sort of revolved around him. He won through the power of friendship and a scene lifted from the end of Dark Knight Rises. It was a bad season.

What's the point of even saying, "Oh fix this, fix that" when you know the writers have no intention of doing so? The series started off great for 2 seasons, I remember I used to watch it in my last year of college during lectures cause it was that good..Now I can't even be bothered to m8. Okay let me take that back...it wasn't THAT good, but it peaked my interest cause at the time it was the only live action DC show and it was something worth getting excited about. Manu Bennett as Slade Wilson was beyond based.

They won't be resetting anything cause the writers of the last 2 seasons are still the same. The episodes will still be flavor of the week villain with 45 minutes of "What about my feewings Oliber" or my favorite theme from last season "You can't let the darkness consume you Oliber"
