So far there's some comparisons showing off how one of Vaati's Dark Souls II videos, on Lucatiel of Mirrah, has similar shots to one made by someone else on the same subject. It compares two what I assume are machinima recreations of something being described by an NPC. The main argument is that the two videos are way too similar to be anything but plagarism since both are entirely made up. I unfortunately only ever played Dark Souls, so I can't really comment on what would make sense and what the outfits and so on may be logically chosen for. The guy making it says Vaati is an obvious plagiarist because he never chimed in on the similarities of the two videos. The two videos are "Dark Souls 2 Cinematic Lore: Lucatiel of Mirrah" and "Dark Souls 2 Story Lucatiel of Mirrah," by Aegon of Astoria and Vaatividya respectively. Both of those are still up, so you can go check those at least to compare yourself.

There's also a comparison of "The Paleblood Hunt: A Bloodborne Analysis" by Redgrave and Vaatividya's lore analysis video (which the guy doesn't actually mention by name for some reason? I must have missed it skipping around) through a plagarism detector and got some positive results (apparently by taking parts of the transcript, not all of it though). It's also 26 minutes long, so I unfortunately am not going to be watching all of it. I assumed the filesize was due to the HD thing. The claim seems slightly dubious to me, but since I haven't seen the entire half hour argument nor investigated it further, my opinion hardly matters. All I can say is that I'm not really qualified to say how good the argument is, though it is a bit more than just "Vaati made the same point as someone else."
