Don't get me wrong since I agree with you that this an appropriate character to use to cover material like this, my concern is that Walker's execution has been really ham-fisted. Which is especially annoying since liked his Shaft mini-series so much.

For me it's the faces. The faces are comically bad at times. But also the Pepto Bismol, yes. Everyone is kind of ugly, and the people who are supposed to be ugly are hideous.
