my mom would never let me stay up that late for a cartoon late night talk show. also being a kid I never wanted to actually watch the talk show potions just the funny bits with brack and zorak.

The mini tried too hard to subvert Space Ghost's Adult Swim comedy image by being grimdark as fuck, and didn't think that this would just make the comics even more laughable. The Zorak redesign is neat, though.

Original Space Ghost and Birdman had fighting, action, explosions, and the occasional implied off-screen death. Superfriends was the exact opposite of that. Superfriends was dullsville, man.

Just picked up the first two issues of this yesterday, speaking of Space Ghost.

I love Space Ghost to death. It's so weird though that after years of Coast to Coast I have trouble separating the two in my head. It used to be Coast to Coast was a spoof of og Space Ghost in my head but now whenever I think of Space Ghost its always CtC Space Ghost followed by (oh yeah he had his original show back in 66, thats right.)
