I'm just going to come right out and say it. The new armor variants seen in Rogue One look better than the FO Stormtroopers. They're meaner looking, more rugged, and more intimidating than the iPod gleaming crap JJ approved.

I'm not saying they should have been the new Stormtroopers but they certainly look more like soldiers. It shows they had people who could have designed shit that wasn't quite so duckface ridiculous.

They do. I don't hate the new stormtroopers and I don't even think they look duckfaced, but the FO stormtroopers look like someone changed a few lines here and there and called it a day. Even the clonetroopers looked significantly different from the Imperial stormtroopers.

I don't think he'll leave the Empire yet, I think the point of his development is that he'll start having doubts but will still believe in the Empire but he may be a bit more sympathetic towards heroes as opposed to his old "enemies of the Empire must be punished!" mentality. I think he'll need more pushing before he actually leaves the Empire, and it'll probably come at a critical time where he absolutely has to make a choice.

They've already almost made Revan canon, he was going to appear in TCW during Mortis alongside Darth Bane, influencing the son. But that was cut in development because of the implication of the Sith could talk to the Son by separating themselves from the Force.after death.

So, about Ahsoka...

Filoni never actually said she was alive... His words were very carefully chosen, and he still described the Sith Temple imagery for the Topps art as metaphorical.

Am I crazy for thinking that there's more to this, and she still may be dead, or something else?

But anyways, I am glad that he has reconsidered his stance on her not appearing on Rebels. Now we can at least get an answer on-screen within the next two years.

I think what he means is Ahsoka isn't going to be in Luke's Jedi Order like most people would assume she would be if she lived through the OT, but she'll probably be very important to Luke by telling him everything about Anakin's time as a Jedi or something. Stuff that may have been completely erased from all records by the Empire that only Ahsoka would know about him.

Now this just makes me want a comic book series set after Episode 6 about Luke making the new Jedi. Imagine this:
>Luke is well known by now as the first Jedi since the creation of the Empire.
>Ahsoka learns about him and gets into contact with him to give him some info about the Jedi to sort of kickstart the new order, but she doesn't join herself because that's just not what she is anymore.
>She sends Luke all over the galaxy to find old Jedi temples and even helps him find the holocron that Cad Bane once tried to steal to help him find more force sensitives to recruit to his order.
>Luke fights Inquisitors from the Empire and converts some of them into the New Jedi Order.
>Luke finds some force sensitive babies around the galaxy but because the New Republic is so new, and the galaxy just went through years of anti-Jedi propaganda, there are some arcs where Luke has to try very hard to convince parents to let their kids become Jedi.
>Kanan may have had to kill Ezra by now and abandoned the Jedi way but eventually Luke may find out about him and have an arc where he convinces Kanan to join the New Jedi Order.
>Comic ends around 3 years after the Battle of Jakku with Luke accepting his nephew Ben into the Order.
>In some book or something they reveal that thanks to her help with the New Republic and the New Jedi Order, Ahsoka died peacefully on some resort beach planet property given to her by the New Republic.
