Danny meets up with Sal. She asks him if he's okay, he seemed really upset the last time they talked. He apologizes but bristles with some anger about Ambazir-exgirlfriend. He says that with how angrily she reacted, Sal's read was right. Sal admits that he's a little more interesting when he's grumpy. Danny is about to do his classic overly loyal to Amber routine, when he remembers to the fun times he had with Sal playing Mario Kart, and how angry Amber was with him for even talking to her. He decides to try and get with Sal partially as an act of defiance and partially because she's fun and hot.

Then they have a relationship (maybe it starts out as just them hanging out more as friends cause Sal is feeling lonely in that sense and it escalates to romance), Sal gets to work out some of her intimacy issues because Danny is a genuinely caring guy, Danny gets to have a partner who is more easy going and less judgemental. Also, could both expand each other's habits, since they're so different.
