They're a mixed bag, the recent Badoon one we read was really boring for example.

just mentioning, Lemire said in an interview about Death of X that Emma and the Cuckoos are in it.
I suspect one of the Cuckoos got killed, because we know some people died, and I guess it is easy to kill a Cuckoo since you would still have 2.

well, the only 2 dead ones so far were killed in the Morrison run, so they were killed by their creator, one died killing Quentin Quire and the other died during the Xorneto thing.
I have no clue if another one will die, but there will be some deaths, and I think it will be easy to decide to kill a clone when you will still have 2 more clones.

Claremont was incredibly famous for his purple prose in writing. Lots of words and metaphors and all that shit. He is an excellent author and in a better world he would be heading Marvel Editorial. Although as a result of the tons of words, artists would be be screwed. They lost a ton of space and Claremont would want changes from time to time. Not a problem necessarily, just top quality on both sides making things complected.

Byrne left the book because he drew Colossus ripping a stump outta the ground easily and then Claremont added all this text about how hard it was. It was the final straw for the two

I remember in a Daredevil doc JrJr said he was considering quitting comics after X-Men and found his love again in doing Daredevil but I don't know any details.

Not that big into X-Men, but I always liked the interactions between Colossus and Nightcrawler. They always seemed fairly friendly towards each other even though Peter is from Russia and Kurt is from Germany
