Marvel have never rebooted it's universe, they have just taken the habit of doing many relaunches recently

However I've the impression that this isn't even a general relaunch, am I wrong?
They are relaunching some teams and a couple of ongoing dedicated to a characters, but for the most part the other series are keeping their numbering
All the new #1 are actual new ongoing, not relaunched ones

The way it happened didn't help at all
They were married for almost 20 years at the time of OMD, which means that many would have been against it anyway, but when you do it with one of the worst Marvel stories ever that include a pact with the Devil to save the old aunt that had already said some chapter earlier that was ready to die, for sure you'll have the fans becoming adamant against it

If they had killed her (hopefully ina a good arc), had left Peter mourning her for 1-2 real-world years to then make him find a new love it would have been much easier to make the fan accept a new girl

This mini was cool, thanks for posting anon.

I thought Regent was alright as a villain in the mini, but I don't know why Slott needed to use him so soon in the main book, he just felt lazily shoehorned in there. Thats Slott for you though I guess, writes one good story then finds a way to fuck it up not long after.
