total complacency due to success causing his work to suffer greatly over time because it just kept repeating itself and getting slightly worse every time it repeats

early Danny Phantom and early FOP are genius but that was a long time ago, counter parts like Craig McCracken or Gennedy still make shows with the same level of quality they did 15 years ago and its mainly because they didn't fall into the pattern of mediocre but steady work Butch did
