Cool Girl: Geology was probably the best skit. Big Dumb Siren and Swamp Hag weren't bad.

Saw it on Vine earlier, but after a second watch, I can say that it is an .... amusing show. Not necessarily a funny show, but amusing.

I mean, a lot of it is kinda dumb and reeks of the Interdimensional Cable episodes of Rick & Morty, where they just say whatever and then animate it. But a lot of it is dumb stuff set to a silly song, so it somehow isn't that bad, which I guess is Neely's style and all.

It's a show you give three episodes to before assessing in full, I think.

A lot of people judged the first episode for the "lick my balls" sketches, which were, you must admit, god awful.

But really, the first episode contained some stuff that made you wary it was another lame attempt at an adult toon sitcom. The idea that family were oblivious cliches to R&M's adventures. The big goofy horse barn hospital Beth worked at. Rick's burps, which was probably the worst they ever were in the pilot.

Thunderbolt Fantasy is a joint Japanese/Taiwanese puppet show directed by Gen Urobuchi (Gaim and Madoka). Maybe you remember the show Wulin Warriors which was a shitty censored dub of an old puppet show. It was surprisingly good to a lot of people. Personally I was already aware of the puppet genre and took to the show instantly.
Ultraman Orb seems to have a good lead this time. The gimmick this year is still old Ultramen being turned into shit by an evil force who also has the same powers as the main character. I plan on giving it a few more episodes to see where it goes but I liked what I saw.
