Before you ask for sauce on this; Aaron stated it. Unchanged humans aren't immune; they're Typhoid Maries whose mutation hasn't been set off yet. And the way the Topsiders' scanner began going crazy when pointed at that guy's mark implies that it IS how a Typhoid Mary is recognized. Maybe Al has a similar mark somewhere on his body too.

Right, that's what I was thinking. Problem is, where should this colony be? If it's too close, then staying in the colony would be kinda pointless. If it's too far, then there wouldn't be much of a relation to the comic's events.
