Meh, the ESU cast work better when Peter actually meets them at ESU. The fact that the shy nerd has come out of his shell thanks to super-heroics and actually has a group of friends and a flatmate by the point he gets to college is one of the most rewarding parts of 616 Peter's character development. If MJ and Gwen and Harry are all at MH and play the same prominent role then Peter's original loner angle looks like an informed attribute. I'd much rather we got the MH cast first (even though we aren't).
