I've been grabbing keywords from descriptions and synonym descriptions to try and get some extra info, weighting the liklihood of something being relevant based on which description it came from and whether it too is a related word. It's been fairly successful at determining some properties, but yeah, the relevant data isn't always there.

I'd love to see where this all goes. If you get a good database going it'd be very useful for the land generator too, classifying stuff is a bitch.

It sounds like Hussie forgot what he wanted to do for the ending. He DID mention that, for quite some time, he had a pretty good idea for how he wanted to finish the comic. Presumably he would have built upon that initial idea in his head over the years. Why were we delivered nothing?

Even if he threw a few more MacGuffins together it would've been a better ending than what we've already gotten. It would also feel more like Acts 1-5 where a bunch of random shit happened that was actually fun to read, and operated with its own logic.

Land of Apparitions and Bioluminescence

LOAAB faces a nearly perpetual dusk and faint fog. To light the way, the creatures of the land, including the consorts (which are purple flying jellyfish) emanate a sort of bioluminescence. 90% of the land is covered in water, and landmasses are rocky outcroppings with derelict stone structures. Other landmasses take the form of floating mountains (think James Cameron's Avatar), some of which are actually apparitions. Aradia had an interesting story to follow in my opinion, it had a sizable spectrum of interesting themes such as: fun, intrigue, narrative exploration, a lot of tragedy and a resolution. Aradia helped show just how fucked up both Alternia, Skaia and Vriska was over the course of the story, whilst also demonstrating the potential value of fully embracing what you believe in, which isn't always a consistent or iron-clad thing. In addition, her actions helped show that adversity is a constant threat in Skaia and it isn't reasonable, but by fully embracing her role as the Maid of Time she eventually reached that good ending she always wanted and really deserved

Sollux? I'm not sure, he has a lot of interaction with the themes of sacrifice and capability not being enough to beat adversity early on in his additions to the story, however minor. But once he burns himself out propelling the meteor and meets up with God Tier Aradia, he doesn't really do anything, while Aradia is still this amusingly chipper death angel who wants to see the universe end.
