Dracula's surprisingly-considerate-father characterization could've stayed as-is, while his appearance could've reflected on just why he is and was such a big deal in the monster community (old fashioned; implied experience, and dated but valuable wisdom. badass; implied to still have the ruthless edge he always had even after retiring to raise a kid)

Honestly, the biggest reason I have interest in Ghoul School is because it's wasted potential. I feel like so much could be done with some of it's ideas.

However, the waifubait is kinda getting on my nerves. I accept the vampire looking pretty, and maybe the ghost, but do ALL of them need to be pretty? I love Herny and Plague's art, but there's only so much I can take now.

He runs a hotel. I thought it worked well to have him sort of have a Basil from Fawlty Towers kind of nebbishness. Also the more ghoulish versions of him give him more of an excuse for his reclusiveness and anti-human stance than just his own emotional wounds and stubborness. It would change the whole tone of his background, and make doesnt-deserve-to-be-porking-Mavis liking him and trying so hard to get along with him weird instead of just annoying.
