As someone who often caves to the urge to destroy as much as I can in video games with open worlds and plenty of destructible NPCs and environments, I can attest to the very bleak and empty feeling that washes over you once you completely purge a town's population or level a whole city area. It's not really remorse or regret, even as someone generally deeply affected by fiction emotionally, it's just...crushing boredom, you know? It's a cycle I repeat with ease when moving on to other areas in the games, but nothing prevents how draining the ennui feels when it sets in again and again. It's ultimately not worth it, and yet, I can't shake my desire to wreak virtual havoc.

I like seeing Wander suffer (because it makes them more real) but I also like seeing Dominator be a total unforgivable bitch. It will make her downfall even more exciting.

For awhile, it's been sort of just there, simple story with a simple animation route.

From the beginning, don't listen to the dominator fags.

Season 2 is serious story, Season 1 is episodic fun. Both are worth your time and you should start from the beginning.

You're bound to be told this often by other fans of other shows, but the first episodes are somewhat weak. Decent, but weak compared to the rest.

It's an 80 or so episode ride but you'll be caught up most likely after the finale airs, so you'll get the full story during your binge.

Isn't it sorta weird how when there's this giant planet conquering/dominating destroyer that it "stops here!"? I don't think this is an actual trope, but if it is, direct me to it please.

Like in shows where it's just people on Earth or whatnot, and an episode has them dealing with this entity that will destroy that world and every other world known, they always stop it or send it away.

I will never understand why the digitally made shows of today aren't released in anything higher, at least on Itunes. 1080p looks like garbage sometimes. I know it can be because of the source material, but hell, look at this.

Same problem with anime, most of them look like shit, especially during action scenes. I think the problem is that the majority of people is satisfied with low quality streams and most of them watch series on their small phones nowadays. I wish they'd at least give the option to watch it in HD and see how many viewers make use of it. They can stop doing it later if there isn't any demand.

Most people are casuals. They don't have any real- or hardcore hobbies, and games or movies and series are more of a distraction to them or some social thing they watch or play because their friends play/watch it. Most of them would never read any source material either, no matter how much they enjoyed a movie or series that's based on it. Hell I even know people who have never watched all episodes of series they liked. It's enough that the episodes they had seen were entertaining to them while they lasted.

From what I remember, it did fairly well on Disney's flagship channel. It's ratings suffered when moving to XD. Pretty sure Gravity Fall's ratings had a drop, too, and Disney gave it a hell of a lot more attention. It still pisses me off that Gravity Falls was offered an unwanted season 3 and WoY was not.

Gravity Falls had 3 to 4 million viewers occasionally while on Disney Channel, and when it moved to XD it could still pull in a million viewers and even brought 2M on the finale.

Wander Over Yonder would have 1 to 2 Million viewers usually on Disney Channel and on XD it usually averaged around the 0.30s and the 0.40s... really sucks man.

Nothing really showing they saved resources for the animation in this one. In fact, they still have some fucked angles of her suit.

The only parts that look decent are the ones in the ship, and those always look good anyway due to the background design and liquid effects.
