So what? It's my own personal taste, you defensive nigger. I was just asking if anyone else felt similarly about the show. I never once stated that the show was objectively bad.

1. The show is loved by fans of animation for incorporating varying mediums into the show. Claymation, puppets, live action, cgi, and so forth.

2. See the kiss it pretty much the best episode, but you might want to watch gumball and penny establish their relationship a bit first.

3. I really hate it when people complain that a show doesn't fit their tiny aesthetic niche. Guys who really love animation appreciate the artistry involved and not complain "it doesn't look pretty enough for me to get into". Have an open mind.

About halfway through S3, and since S4, I haven't been into this show so much.

Part of it has to do with scheduling, but another part has to do with the fact that Ben's writing is leaning more on memes, technology references, and making the characters more and more loud.

I was fine with innocent S1 Gumball. I preferred S2 Gumball's jaded behavior.

But S3/S4's spastic and loud behavior isn't endearing. He can only alternate between loudness, and making smug quips.

I think that works only on the main characters (Watterson) in my opinion. On the other hand, secondary characters beside Penny rarely get any spotlight in Season 3 and Season 4.

Literally one of the least laziest cartoons currently being made. It's a mix of CGI, drawn, and real. Not liking it is one thing, but it's definitely not lazy, and it's fitting in that every character is made in a different form.
