It evidently experimented with a few techniques that were new at the time, including forms of limited animation.

The "limited animation" actually got Chuck Jones in trouble and close to being fired, though in the end they couldn't find anyone to replace him.

I hadn't seen it before. Just watched on YouTube. It is pretty damn funny.
