Finally a thread where I can catch up on live comments.

- White Tiger, so far, is less interesting to me than the Sons of the Tiger, who are still showing up and kinda stealing the narrative gusto from Hector
-Sword Quest is... neat, but is another case of these magazine stories riding art over story.
-Iron Fist having a WTF fest story right after Shang Chi finished his was kinda funny. But reuniting with his dead mom over some girl he just met who was this cosmic soul of mankind was ultimately underwhelming.

As was mentioned later on, they met in one of the Master of Kung-Fu Annuals. That's the problem with "in media res" stories in comics, you can't tell if the story will explain later, or if it happened decades before you started reading.

And as was mentioned god knows how many threads ago, the mags had less restrictions on them than the comics did, so expect to see entire pages spoiler'd because the artist decided to show some tits.

I don't know if it comes up anywhere else, but Colleen picked up some of Danny's fighting skills after their oddly sexual Mind Meld. I say "don't know if it comes up anywhere else" since Colleen is usually a swordsman and rarely fights Bare Handed.
And The Living Weapon decided to give him those weird nunchuck things, instead of a sword, as I recall.

The Sons of the Tiger were a consistent part of this mag for the first half, so they were there for the beginning and only disbanded at issue 19 (1-5).
Iron Fist, on the other hand, only appeared for one story in Part 4, and was otherwise in parts 5-7, and he appeared in the end of White Tiger's last arc.

According to every article I could find, Jack of Heart's origin story was in Deadly Hands of Kung Fu, and we've read it all.

Nope, sister. What you have to realize is that she was created incredibly recently, in 2011(in Avengers Academy's latter half), long after Hector was killed off, and they even specifically bring up the fact that she survived the massacre of his family. I don't remember how they explain it, off the top of my head. I'll check it when I get back home, hopefully before I get to our storytime.
