So. Where should we have Max's new powers explicitly discussed as being unusual? In the lobby scene? In the fight with Darla? In the remaining Celebrity fight on the list?
Maybe after Darla's defeat, they could discuss how Max defeated her.
>>
4am EST range is the deadest time of day on /co/. No wonder last thread died when it did.

>>83872124
Probably after the fight with Darla.

I'm still trying to decide if Max should manifest them to keep Tanya from becoming a murderer or to save someone.
>>
>>83872255
Well, i'm glad it's not because the threads themselves are dying. Even after a good portion of people left, we're still kicking thankfully.

I'd say powers should start manifesting to keep Tanya from becoming a murderer.

>At the end of the fight, Max manages to use his line-throwing ability to land on top of Darla and her Stand, increasing hugely in weight because he's being courageous by attacking her
>Darla laughs it off, pointing out to Max that she's immune to the gravity increase from her own Stand, but Max replies that the catwalk isn't; she crashes through it to the floor and is knocked out. Max avoids falling by grappling the ceiling
>Wakko: "Nice work, Max! I didn't know your Stand could do that!"
>Max: "It couldn't before. It only started doing that after I had to fight Mortos."
>Yakko: "That... shouldn't be possible."
>Max: "What?"
>Dot pops up next to him with a large sheet of paper labelled "Standard Warner Bros Fame And Fortune Stand Contract". "Yep, it's all in here: any Stands obtained as a result of a contracted identity will not be able to develop or change as a normal Stand is capable of. I don't know how you're doing it."
>Max: "...How do you have that?"
>Dot shrugs and tosses it away.
>>
>>83872255
>>83872325
We've already got him using them to kill Mortos, so we have to decide on an alternative way for him to do that if he manifests them to stop Tanya. Is it fine if he just ORAs Mortos to death/banishment?

Maybe, though Max's Stand isn't exactly a punchghost.

It could be the first, more subtle sign that Castaway's emerging, I guess.
>>
>>83873009
The only way to kill Mortos is by decapitation.

What kind of room has a catwalk in the WB tower?
>>
>>83875012
The stairs, then? I dunno, man.

the floor that makes up the cathedral of snacks.

Here acolytes work tirelessly to create the perfect porkrinds to appease the Red One.

Their hands are crispy and delicious from crafting such delicious food.

Another company would just call this the Employee Rest Area. Or someting retarded like that. In WB, the only reprieve employees get in the Break Room is creating delicious snacks for the Red One.

There are catwalks atop the cathedral that makes up this floor.
>>
>>83875084
I thought it was so when they died they went to the snack factory in hell.
>>
>>83875109
well yeah.
But then it becomes a full time job.
Here's it's just the break room. The preparation.

When they go to helll it's straight to work. Since they're suppposed to be prepped.

>>
>>83875012
Since Mortos Stand needs reflective surfaces to work outside his punchghost form, Max could use a large shard of glass/mirror to cut Mortos head.
>>
>>83875796
I guess that's an option, but then it feels like a drawn out chore to get his head off rather than one swift motion.
>>
>>83876081
Mirror breaks in the fight, Max grabs it with his Stand and slices the head off?
>>
>>83876468
I don't think a glass shard of that size with that amount of force applied would be able to sever bone.

That's my main hang up about it.
>>
>>83875012
>What kind of room has a catwalk in the WB tower?
I was thinking there would be two fights with Darla, the first is her against Max and Tanya where they exploit the studio catwalk she is using.

The second (and slightly more frazzled) time we see here is in the WB tower where it is Rolf who defeats her, he tries to exploit the floor being weaker, but then Darla tells him it is re-enforced...only for Taffy to turn the re-enforcing stuff into cheese, making it much more fragile. then as Rolf sends his feet through doors above his head and pulls off his shoes along with taking a third one from his pocket we get this line:
>"Let me ask you little blown-gasket-actress-girl, have you ever experience the almighty THREE SHOE BEATING!"

>>83876581
Well, whatever it is, Mortos' severed head probably says something stupid as his final words:

>"Mortos only regret is dying away from...rubber pants"
>Mortos rubber pants spontaneously combust, causing Mortos to crumble into dust.

Traductor

By the way, since we are looking for a replacement for Tobias Whale in legal, I was thinking that the bad guy from biker mice from mars could fit the bill.
>>
>>83876745
But the three shoe beating only comes in when Rolf remasters his Stand.
>>
>>83876922
While his Stand may need to be Remastered to use the Three Shoe Beating, he does not have any such problems. plus I was on'y planning for him to use so he could break away the chunk of the floor he had pinned Darla to and ride it down through three floors of the tower to RETIRE her.
>>
>>83877063
That doesn't really feel necessary. Pulling that out earlier would devalue the humor/"oh yes" feeling of the Remastering.
Plus, we don't really need two fights against Darla, let alone two both in the tower.
>>
>>83877086
>let alone two both in the tower.
The first is in the studio
>>
>>83877162
No, it isn't. We're done with the studio, and we don't need any fights there. She's being fought by Max and Tanya at the tower.
>>
>>83876872
What if he was wearing his rubber pants when his head gets cut off and it's his head being away from his rubber pants that are still on his body that causes him to say that.

Mortos does not have an item in Patrick's office, and it's very important that it stays that way.
>>
>>83877396
Why's it so important? I'm fine with that, but what's the reasoning?
>>
>>83877162
Darla wasn't fought in the Studios

>>83877396
yeah anon, he is supposed to wear his pants, I don't see why he would go butt naked collecting souls
>>
>>83878221
To be fair, this is a company run by the Red Guy.
>>
>>83877461
Mortos is the only one who knew of Max going against the WB, the information of Max being a rebel to the WB does not leak until after the UR are already in the middle of fighting Mok or shortly before then.

We've been over this at least 50 times now since that's the reason why Max was able to sneak the UR into the studios, the WB didn't know he had turned against them yet at that time.

We are even beyond the point of that plot element still being relevant to current discussion since that part of the story has already been taken care of.
>>
Ok, I'm going to add the missing characters/Stands to the doc, anyone has the revised Stand of Telephone avatar?
>>
>>83879190
I don't think we ever got around to revising it.
>>
>>83879214
There was something about allowing it to spy on its targets. In the meantime, I'm putting the one in the Stand doc.
>>
>>83879294
It could implant a mental image of itself in a person's head and when they come up with the perfect mental picture of TA, he's able to take physical form.

Or something like that.
>>
Question, what's our timeline again? I was wanting to know for a few future parts.
>>
>>83881826
From part 1-->2 is like 5 years at least. At least.

Part 2-->3 is around 20 years.

Part 3-->4 is 1 year.

Part 4-->5 is at most 3 years. (Plucky is 14 during the events of the part he appears in).

Not sure after that.
>>
>>83882255
>>83881826

Part 1 - 2 is at least 10 years.
Max 20
>>
>>83882255
From 5 to 6 It depends of how long it took for the Warden to turn those ruins into a semi-functional jail.
between 6 to 7 is probably a small amount of time, since at the end of part 6 there is an announcement about the start of the race.
No idea about 7->8
>>
>>83882755
Our only frame of reference would be if we were including Chernabog's daughters, who are now teenagers. That and if we were to include Wednesday and Pugsley, who would be in their 30s I suppose?

Samurai Jack was suggested to appear too, but I don't know if we're doing that. We have Punished Fred appearing, so that might be a bit redundant. And I doubt anyone would like to see Jack killed off for a gag. Unless Fred killed Jack in his time in the Scope Men, but deeply regretted it and decided to change his ways.

Part of me wanted to suggest that Bling-Bling Boy from Johnny Test would show up in Ethan's cult in a similar way to Porky in Mother 3 too. Dunno about that idea though.
>>
>>83882755
>between 6 to 7 is probably a small amount of time, since at the end of part 6 there is an announcement about the start of the race.
That's stupid and we should cut it, since the Superjail fiasco is meant to be what gets Nobody elected.
>>
>>83882730
OK, so 1-->2 is 10 years.

>>83882755
Could the ruins still be located in Florida? I feel there's a number of Disney World jokes to be made there.
>>
>>83883501
The new season of Samurai Jack coming out later this year is set 50 years after the end of the previous season, so old Jack showing up wouldn't be out of the question.
>>
>>83883524
There is not an actual indication of how many time passed between the ending of part 6 and that scene on the epilogue

>>83883557
The only background info of the Panopticon is that it was built by an ancient civilization, I'm not sure if it was explained where it was.
>>
>>83883501
>>83883557
>>83883588
>>83883668

Make there be 20 years between Part 1 and 2
20 between 2 and 3
Then 2 between 3 and 4
and 8 between 4 and 5.
6 is 2 years after 5.

If we do this, we can have Jack develop an Anubis-like Stand.

The Old Prison that superjail was built upon can be a sinister place that Jack wants to purge. Make him be the one hero in the group.
>>
>>83883919
If his stand is Anubis-like though, wouldn't that make him a villain?
>>
>>83884022
I think he means "bound to a sword" Stand
>>
>>83884022
only in abilities.

Make something that plays to his strengths as a fighter by maybe letting him throw his sword or something.

It has to have fun limitation that means it cant go puncghost.

Fuck I just recommended giving Jack Hermit Purple.
>>
>>83883919
No, I don't want to mess with the time line anymore than what we have up to part 5.
It's making things overly complicated where they don't need to be.

If you need to tack on years, do it after part 5. Time is needed to build the jail, time is needed for the elections to pan out, time is needed for that whatever bullshit cult to get set up.
>>
So, what's next on the tower?
>>
>>83886077
We've done Mortos and Darla fights, haven't we? Or are we still working on them?

We still need a stairway fight unless that's been scrapped.

We also need to do Dogbert's betrayal to the WB I think? And how he helps them.

Rolf beats Patrick, embedding the experiences of the UR and the Old Country with the all-powerful remastered three shoe beating onto him. Where are the others during this? Where is Donald?

Also, Max's death, how is that done? Him destroys the Tower. Everyone gets out safely except Max. Donald mourns his death and dives into Hell, and saves Goofy's soul. In part 7 it was suggested that the corpse parts would give Goofy an out of context vision of Max's death, making it look like Donald had killed him, which causes Goofy to become more antagonistic. So there's that to remember too.
>>
>>83886251
Mortos is done, and he's not in the tower. That was some stuff we need to go back and finish from earlier in the part.

Next is >>83861660 >>83866214 and >>83872503

And I don't get why anons want Darla to be defeated in that specific way. It's really limiting my options.
>>
>>83886333
Write her defeat like how you want too.

Crushing the floor under her gravity is the most obvious option. Do you have an alternative?
>>
>>83886251
Dogbert and Scruffy "help" the WB by laying traps on the UR path and delaying them, but they are mostly nuisances and they are fired for incompetence. After that, maybe Scruffy's Stand helps the UR by dropping them right next to the room outside Patrick's office.
>>
>>83886393
That sounds good. Saves them the trouble of climbing the rest o the way there. At this point, the whole Tower just makes me think of Persona 3's Tartarus.
>>
>>83887227
I'm thinking that Scruffy is also the one that send the UR to the Big Guys Porn studio in an attempt to deal with them. But we still need a fourth Stand and a fourth Big Guy.
>>
>>83886393
No, the UR must suffer through the gift shop before reaching Patrick, it is the final hurdle before reaching his office.
>>
>>83887970
that's exactly what I said, the room in front of Patrick's office (I forgot the name of it). What's in the gift shop anyway?
>>
>>83888052
Whatever unspeakable horrors that we've failed to find a place for in part 5 so far.

Or it's just an ordinary gift shop... that takes your soul as payment.

I don't know yet.
>>
>Back at the base of the tower, Rex is coordinating his rag-tag group of misfits
>The Warner Siblings have gotten over the intercom and have been buzzing every floor to send down more guys causing chaos in the WB's system and leading to a mounting pile of bodies in the lobby (as well as decreased security on the upper stories as per the plan)
>Max, Morocco Mole, and Tanya have been leading the charge
>Fifi has broken off from the rest of the group with a small army of WB guards under her pheromone control to begin moving the bodies out of the tower and also hold their gained ground
>Max, Tanya, and Morocco have gotten up to the 8th story so far
>Tanya is having trouble controlling [Black Magic], she either uses too little or too much blood and the fact that it's her blood is making her hesitate when she fires it or detonates it, even though it all comes back to her afterwards
>They enter a large room filled with vats of boiling oil and the stench of poorly refrigerated meat
>This room takes up the entire width of the floor and at least two stories tall with scaffolding above
>There's someone up above with a megaphone shouting at the people hurriedly preparing porkrinds
>"Keep it moving! You don't want the Boss finding out you've been slacking off on your breaks!"
>The sign says "employee lounge"
>They barely get a look at the place before the person up above notices them, it's Darla Dimple (Cats Don't Dance)
>"Well well, what do you have here? A bunch of traitors! I told them at the studios they shouldn't let dirty animals be stars!"
>Max, Tanya, and Morocco ready their stands
>"A cowardly dog and a cheap imitation rat have no chance against me!"
>Max leads the charge, but suddenly his body become heavy, as if gravity has increased
>Tanya is still being shy about cutting lose and fires a halfhearted blast at Darla, gravity increases on her as well
>Morocco had wandered off before Darla had gotten a good look at him
Cont. in a bit.
>>
It seems someone has noted on the doc that they have a shitty ISP that has blocked 4chan.

Should we have a plus4chan backup thread for this project?
>>
That really should be catwalks, not scaffolding.
>>83888358
>Max causes a huge flash of light, Darla calls him a coward for this and suddenly gravity around his body returns to normal
>Tanya is still stuck in place from the gravity
>Max has already made his way up onto the catwalk when Darla's sight returns
>They are on parallel catwalks
>She summons [Big and Loud]'s huge humanoid form (it looks like her butler, Max, from the movie)
>Meanwhile, Morocco looks like he's walking on air in the background
>[Big and Loud] leaps at Max, but Max and the catwalk he's on are illusions that explode as soon as it makes contact with them, Max was actually with Morocco on the real catwalk which he made invisible
>[Big and Loud] should no damage from this though and comes at them again
>Back down below, Tanya is being nudged by [Black Magic] which is making motions and pantomiming that she should sing
>Tanya begins to sing, at first it's one of the songs she was taught during her one day crash course as Jan, but [Black Magic] stops her
>Tanya begins again, but this time it's one of her songs, not one of Jan's, and since she's singing something Jan never did, she's no longer acting like an imitation
>[Black Magic] then pulls her into the pocket world
>Back up on the catwalks, Max and Morocco can't even get close to Darla
>Jan reappears behind Darla and blast a hole clean through her (non lethal though)
>Darla is now pissed and [Big and Loud] is pouncing at Tanya, who then disappears again
>Tanya reappears above Darla singing one of the Jan songs and doing her best Jan impersonation causing gravity to increase on her again, making her fall faster
>Darla scoffs at this "As if my own power could be turned against me."
>Tanya, still doing a Jan impression "Now you might be able to be able to withstand the power of your stand, but I can't say the same for this catwalk." as she lands on top of Darla causing the catwalk to give out under them
cont.
>>
>>83888934
>They are directly above one of the vats of boiling oil
>[Black Magic] allows Tanya to disappear, but she still has to travel the distance in that pocket dimension and gravity still works there, so she's stuck falling with Darla
>Tanya is banking on her stand being able to heal her after hitting the oil
>Max makes a "no no no" panic motion and begins glowing, he begins posing too, strange new poses (the perfect cast)
>Suddenly a wire appears and grabs Tanya, pulling her out of the air and away from the oil just as Darla falls into it
>Max's stand has changed a little more now
>It now has a fishing rod of some kind

>>83872503
If we cut the first two lines of this, we can splice that onto the end of this bit.

Also need to figure out who tips the oil vat over so we can see Darla rapidly ageing away.
>>
all I can say is while reading the doc, the Jan and Max sections of the story are pretty fucking badass
>>
bump.

Thankfully interest will no doubt skyrocket when we reach part 6. That has next to nothing in it now and can be full of suggestions. It's always that when we hit the end of a part, interest always seems to go down hill.

Just a little longer, then we'll be done and ready for part 6, which will hopefully be better than regular Jojo part 6.

Speaking of Stone Ocean, I feel we're now obligated to include SOMEONE from Superjail in our part 8 now. Doesn't have to be from the actual show though. Just someone in or implied to be in the part. We aren't doing a universe switch.
>>
>>83891555
Indeed, there is a disturbingly low amount of posters in this thread compared to previous threads. And yes, it will be interesting to have a character that was a former inmate of Superjail, besides any aberration caught by Ethan's cult.
>>
>>83891555
The middle is always a bit of a slog, and part 5 seems a bit bloated in some places, to be honest.
>>
>>83891750
I think since I took some of the reins and have been writing most of part 5, anons are just waiting for me and the few others still hammering away at the greentext to finish it.

It's still going to be at least a few more days before part 5 will be done enough to get into part 6.

It's still easier to keep pumping out text for this when I have material to start with and sting together, so the slow down is slowing down my process as well.
>>
>>83891906
That's also true, on previous parts there were a lot more people writing, and that number have been dwindling. Anyway, here is a scene to showcase Scruffy's Stand at least once and set the Big Guys fight.

>As the Urban Rangers keep climbing the tower, an unknown individual is watching them through a monitor.
>???: “Intruders have breached our defenses and are swarming our hideout! They shall be punished!”
>The person speaking is actually Scruffy who is reading the dialogue of a porno novel, not paying attention to the monitors.
> A scrawny figure emerges from the wall behind him; 「DREAM THEATER」, Scruffy’s Stand, who proceeds to hit Scruffy on the back of the head.
>Scruffy: “Whoa. What’s the matter, boy?”
>「DREAM THEATER」 points to the screens showing the Urban Rangers
>Scruffy: “Hey, look at that, we have intruders. Damn, Those boys seem really dangerous. Only a Stand user can stop their advance, and I know exactly who”
>「DREAM THEATER」 smirks malevolently at the thought of engaging the intruders, but Scruffy points at another screen.
>Scruffy: “Those Big Guys on the lawyer buffet right there, they can take care of this small problem. DT, that’s your signal”.
>「DREAM THEATER」 rolls its eyes before submerging back into the wall.
>The UR reaches another elevator, looks safe so decide to enter. Rolf presses the button with the highest floor number on it (something around the 500th floor)
>Right after the door closes; the elevator shakes violently and begins to rise quickly.
>Cartman: “Oh, what a fucking surprise, it was a trap”
>「AMERIKA」 punches through the roof and the Ur spot 「DREAM THEATER」 pulling frantically the wires of the elevator.
>Before they can even attack, the elevator comes to a stop and 「DREAM THEATER」 sinks into the roof. A light flashes in the door (indicating that Scruffy’s Stand changed the room at the other side of the door).
The elevator then opens directly to the Porn Studio.
>>
>>83884646
there's no reason time has to be so tight until Part 5.

I helped write most all the parts before that point. Not letting the time flow does not make sense. At best its nonsensical when it can be to our convenience.
>>
>>83886333
then come up with something better.

My main beef with it is the placing of when Plucky was born and how much time passed for Daffy to set his plan in motion. If you increase the time between parts 4 and 5 then you decrease the amount of time Daffy spent setting up his empire and amassing his forces.

By having Plucky be 10 years old during the events of part 3, that gives Daffy ample time for have set up all of this shit he has going for him since he'd have had more than 10 years to do it.

The reason I want Plucky to be 14 during part 5 is because I like the age of Plucky to be closer to GioGio's since we've been making the CoCos older and older.

It's also bother me if it takes them fucking 8 years to track the jawbreakers to the old country. That's just incompetence. Having the time frame be shorter makes more sense with someone like Scrooge backing them.
>>
>>83893765
I already finished the Darla encounter. Scroll up.

Now we're dealing with gay bara layer porn.

Speaking of gay bara lawyer porn, /d/ once made porn of taxes in fic form. I might need to find that cap and incorporate some of it into the script they're reading.
>>
>>83893864
well that's reasonable.

How about this?

We keep Part 1 -2 -3 be 20 years each.

Have a shorter span between 4 and 5. But elongate as much as is feasable between 5 and 6.

I'd think 45 years is enough for us to be able to have "old Jack"
>>
>>83893949
That's also reasonable. I have nothing against that.

That would make Hank in his mid to late 70s by the time we see him in the epilogue of part 2?
>>
>>83894151
bingo.

Having him drop out of fighting even with the aid of Propane breathing to slow his aging is important. That's why he doesn't fight much if at all until he gets his "stand".

He's more Speedweed than Joseph Joestar.
>>
>>83893864
>it takes them fucking 8 years to track the jawbreakers to the old country. That's just incompetence
That's actually a good point, 8 years seems too much, specially with Scrooge's resources.

So do we want to use a little of this for whatever scene the UR walk in on the 4 big guys shooting?

Hopefully the thread won't just die in the wee hours of the morning again.
>>
Ah, wait a minute.
Next up is actually Xavier

The tower climb so far goes like this:

-Rex and Max cause distraction in lobby
-UR + Donald inserted 100 floors up
-UR fight Wernstrom and Doctor Doctor
-Max, Tanya, and Morocco fight Darla
-UR fight customer service
-Max's group meets Xavier

That's where we're at right now.

It's after Max and his group meeting Xavier and stuff that we cut back to the UR getting into the elevator with Barron O'Beeftip, ditching it because of Scruffy, then ending up fighting the 4 big guys.

We also seem to be neglecting Donald going down the floors like a wrecking ball.
>>
The thread will hopefully still be up by the time I wake up this time.
>>
>>83895278
Donald should just go through many unexplained rooms and tear through non euclidian architecture like a demolition ball.

Whatever kooky spirituality Xavier uses to guide the guys on the bottom, Donald replaces with sheer rage.

In case we're still needing fights for the UR (we need someone to replace Darla, anyway): Neron, head of Acquisition? He's the superior of Mortos, Uppercrust, the Businessmen, Facilier, etc. Probably Squidward, too.
Might make a good fight for Squidward and a conclusion for his "regaining the UR's trust" arc. (Stand: [GENETIC REPO MAN]?)
>>
>>83902316
Put them in the gift shop.

Also, we already did the Darla fight, we don't need to replace her since we already finished with the fight she was in.
>>
>>83902492
Yes, I know, but we need to replace her as a fight for the Urban Rangers, since we moved her to be one of the Celebrity fights.
>>
>>83902519
I feel if we add anything more to the UR's fights in the tower it's just going to feel bloated.

From where we are now in the writing process they still have to go through Scruffy, the 4 big guys, Varrick, Dogbert, and the gift shop before getting to Patrick.

Scruffy and Dogbert aren't actually fights, though. They're joke encounters.
And I'm not sure anyone's actually come up with an explanation for what's going to happen in the gift shop or why it's there.
>>
>>83905095
We still need to work out how Xavier is introduced to Max's group.

Which is funner:
-them arriving in a room he's already in
-him arriving on the floor they're currently on via elevator when they all took the stairs
-him crashing through a window in front of them
>>
>>83905974
The second one, but the elevator should be somewhere there logically shouldn't be an elevator.
Like, a closet door opens to reveal the inside of an elevator.
>>
>>83904139
>>83904477
Good to know, but can we still have things such as items, non-playable bosses or stages with platform hazards?

The only things I think that would be important to keep is the wider air area (in comparison to heritage) and non-playable bosses (some mega man like bosses).
>>
>>83906017
I was just thinking it'd be a normal elevator, but OK.

I'm not very good with parts dealing with Xavier, so I'm not even sure how to incorporate the scenes with him that are already drafted.
>>
>>83906120
I think trying to merge those elements into a more traditional fighting game is above our pay grade.
>>
>>83906120
items would be insanely hard to balance. And even in smash you have to turn that shit off if you want to have any fun.

>>83906536
Probably a normal elevator, but it arrives there on a controlled hurricane that Xavier's meteorolgist full-on compadre created to help him get up there.
>>

>>

It can toss and drag people around with hooks lodged in the target's clothes, if said target removes his clothes, the Stand can make a copy of him.
>>
>>83910247
>>83910384
I kind of feel like it needs something more. Red Guy's meant to be the biggest threat in /co/co/, hence the necessity of a broken-ass Remastered Stand and the intervention of the Dead Man's Party to defeat him, but tossing people about with hooks doesn't really feel that powerful. It's a GOOD power, to be sure, but...
>>
>>83910437
He summons copies of the Dead Man's Party during the final fight, but I'm not sure if that's the work of his Stand or demon powers.

OK, so this next part comes after Rolf has beaten customer services, I'm trying to edit what we already have in the doc as notes so that it works with what we have.

>Cut back further down the tower
>*flute plays*
>Xavier walks into an elevator while monologuing.
>"Quests (quests)"
>"Questocity (Questocity)"
>"The path of the Guardian angel is solitary. Like the card playing felon in jail, I too must watch my back, lest I get buttraped in the showers of righteousness (righteousness)."
>We then cut to Max's group who are busy clearing a floor
>They hear rumbling above them and think they'll be running into Donald sooner than later
>The elevator dings, causing everyone to stop looking up and turn quickly to face it
>Out walks Xavier who sees the Warner Siblings
>He gasps. "GASP!! It is you, the StaND slaves!! Have you broken free of your chains and risen against the Red man who shoved his candy down your throat after promising you sex in his white van?"
>The Warner siblings and Max at first react by attacking him.
>Max is first to act by blinding him, Tanya then makes ropes of blood and begins swinging him around the room before suspending him from the ceiling
>Xavier acts as if none of this is happening and continues
>"I felt a presence guiding me here, like pizzas with stuffed crusts made of pretzels guide thousands of scooter ladies to an early grave. My purpose as a spirit guru will come to an end here. I'll finally be able to finish what the blind girl couldn't."
>"It seems she was retarded too. She spoke of the unmentionable ass too soon and so was marked to die. But at least she tried. Like that train that didn't give up until getting a face".
>Max and the Warners realize he probably knows enough to be useful in the tower.
>They ask him if he’s going to help.

This is where I get spotty in this because I don't know how to write his lines, so there's stuff to fill in here.

>Xavier joins Max's group and they head up tot he next floor
cont.
>>
>>83914646
>They can't take the elevator because the one Xavier rode up on stops at the previous floor
>The next floor has no elevators or stairwells, only a door in the middle of the large room making up this floor leading into a small room (think square doughnut)
>They open the door and the small room is huge on the inside, far bigger than the room surrounding it
>the door evaporates like sand behind them
>There is a huge, black, radiant eye in the horizon illuminating the room while red torrents of blood stream down to the chessboard ground and get absorbed immediately. No sound is heard from the spurting blood. So it must be very far away.
>By them is a marble statue of a beautiful woman. It is torn in two to reveal a golden rod asclepius.
>There is a small badger that started burrowing the second they walked into the room.
>Anyways. Xavier walks in last and when he sees the confusion of the others he just laughs at their stupidity.
>"You've got to do THIS!"
>His head explodes and an elevator zooms in front of them.
>"This is the room of ciclicality. I had to END my life, to start this room anew! Now get in before we have to pull our hearts out to get seated in this joint."

I have no idea if "ciclicality" is intentional or if it's supposed to be "cyclicality".

Then we go to >>83892494 , but we still need to make some adjustments.

Well it's expressly said that he admits he doesnt NEED his stand to kill the UR. He's using it to give them a sporting chance since he thinks they earned it.

The consequence is that if he beats them at their game he gets their souls forever.

>>83910929
Plucky arriving means the deal is off and real fighting begins.
>>
>>83911090
Well I want Stands. And for Stand and non-stand users to play differently.

Stand users should focus on needing their Stands to be active.

Even though Daffy slaughters at close range we need him to be hampered a lot when not actively using his Stand.

Gadget's got a neat regenerative Stand. But on the other side, the more HP he loses, the less attacks he can use.

Kuzco needs to feel like either Zero from MvC 3 or like Painwheel from Skullgirls. A monster up close. A fucking beast.

Kida would be similar, but be more tanky with less offensive options. A fast tank that does shit damage.
>>
>>83914825
well there ARE swarms of Cicada roaming through the air.

It's up to you to decide if they represent anything.

>>
>>83892494
OK, so editing and inserting from
>The UR reaches another elevator, looks safe so decide to enter. Rolf presses the button with the highest floor number on it (something around the 500th floor)

Expanding that into:

>The UR reach another elevator
>It dings and they are greeted by Barron O’Beeftip again
>After much deliberation, they finally get inside it
>Rolf presses the button with the highest floor number on it (something around the 500th floor)
>They ride the elevator up in uncomfortable silence broken only by the elevator music
>The elevator begins shaking violently and begins to rise quickly.
>Cartman: “Oh, what a fucking surprise, it was a trap”
>「AMERIKA」 punches through the roof and the UR spot 「DREAM THEATER」 pulling frantically on the elevator cables
>Before they can even attack, the elevator comes to a stop and 「DREAM THEATER」 sinks into the roof.
>A light flashes in the door (indicating that Scruffy’s Stand changed the room at the other side of the door).
>The floor they've stopped at is a film studio/the legal department
>There are 4 Big Guys in the middle of shooting a porno
>They are: Monstroso, Bane TBA TBA

These are some great ideias, Anon. You should write some more of what you expect to the characters in the Roster. That would be really helpful to me.
>>
Another idea I wanted to pitch for part 6 before I forget it.

What if the Rescue Rangers or Rescuers Society are like a spy branch of Interpol and they have agents in the jail hiding in the wall?
This is on top of having undercover agents are prisoners.

I really just want to set up a joke about there being two agent Gadgets in the jail: Penny Gadget and Gadget Hackwrench. But that can be scrapped if we don't want to have Gadget Hackwrench in part 6. I still think having agents in the walls as part of a support network for the undercover agents would be a good idea.

Penny wouldn't be under cover, she'd get trapped in the jail when it goes into lock down during a prison riot. She was visiting one of their undercover agents at the time.

But anyway, back to gay bara lawyer porn.

Cartman will probably react with disgust and try to not look at the spectacle. There probably should be a moment where the big guys keep filming, ignorant of the UR's presence, and the UR don't even want to say anything.
>>
>>83915586

>>
>>83915587
Rolf probably thinks that they are practicing Old country wrestling, but then notes that ball gags aren't part of the reglamentary equipment.
Moto Moto tells Cartman that he has potential to become a Big Guy, Cartman thinks that is because he's big and strong, but Moto Moto indicates that is because he's a fatass with manboobs.

>[STOP THE BREAKS]
>The stand is a gangly, plantoid creature with a head made of various bulbs.
>When a bulb is removed from the head and placed somewhere, anything going near it or already near it will be pushed off course. The bulbs create a sort of opposing force that prevents people from going near one.
>The radius of this field is very small. You'd have to be very close to be pushed away from the bulb.
>The bulbs can be placed in midair. Additionally, they only last for a few minutes before they turn to ash.
>>
>>83916292

All of the parts are important. Part 1 tells you about Dio's connection to Jojo's family and Part 2 tells you about Joseph and it's also the most fun fully animated part so far.

>Kingpin as a Big Guy
>His Stand is 「RHINO SKIN」
>>
>>83926908
Of the ones with anime adaptations: 1 is okay, 2 is fantastic, 3 is kinda boring and overrated, and 4 starts off slow but becomes GOAT.
>>
>>83928875
>Bring me my Horn!
Dammit, is this or the hippo spitroast
>>
>>83930453
>Kingpin gets incredibly riled up, but can't actually summon his Stand until someone brings him his Rhino costume
I think we're onto something here.
>>
>>83930556
>Kingpin as a costume fetishist
>Moto Moto with a Stand that's basically a layer of lube
Remind me again, are we writing a JoJo story or the script of a porno?
>>
>>83930614
What's the difference
>>
I still have no idea how to do the 4 big guys legal fight.

Just keep in mind that it's not even the last fight the UR have to go through on their way up the tower.
>>
>>83930730
That's fine. We're still spitballing right now. Might as well work on something else until we have the basic ideas down.
I think it'd be a good idea to have at least one more fight with the team at the bottom of the tower. Maybe one with Donald's team and Max's team meeting?
Show off the Warners using Stand combos, and then have Donald and friends come in from above.
>>
>>83930847
We never decided if anyone was with Donald.
>>
>>83930730
The only thing I have clear is that whoever uses [Satin Soul] could be fooled into slamming against the floor with increased density, plummeting through all the 500ish floors.

>>83930896
I think Donald was wrecking his way to the first floor alone.
>>
>>83930896
Someone said that Ami, Yumi and Fifi le Fume were with him, and I don't remember anyone objecting.
I dunno. It does not matter.
>>
>>83930944
Fifi is at the base of the tower controlling hordes of WB workers, making them carry the piles of their defeated allies out of the building so they don't have to climb over the bodies.

Not sure what Ami and Yumi are doing.

>>83930932
That could make for a funny moment. Max's group meets up with Donald after having to climb over and dig through hallways filled with bodies and then some big guy in a BDSM/leather getup comes smashing through the ceiling and keeps going down.
>>
>>83930730
>I still have no idea how to do the 4 big guys legal fight.
With even more posing than the pillar men.
>>
Bebop and Rocksteady could be decent grunts for Max's team to face when Donald shows up, but I am too tired to think of Stand ideas for them right now.
I do think they need one more "real" fight to show that they've been doing stuff while the UR fights their way up.
>>
>>83931156
They have Stand suggestions in the doc, but for part 7, I think.
>>
>>83931184
They're supposed to fight Tempo to demonstrate how she lacks control over her stand.
>>
>>83931184
>>83931231
Ah.
I was thinking they'd work here as henchmen fighting at the bottom of the tower while the UR fights the bosses at the top, but I don't know how appropriate their Stands would be here. Anyone else have suggestions?
>>
>>83915587
I had another thought last night

I remembered this old cartoon about the world's first criminal and how cavemen built the first jail to contain him. At the end of the cartoon it switches to modern day (1940s/50s) where the jail still stands and the narrator is revealed to be the criminal, still imprisoned in it, who asks something like "When are you gonna let me out?" while a tear rolls down his face.

What if the Warden builds his jail on top of the first jail ever built by human kind and the first criminal from the short is still alive because he's a Scopeman (Our Stoneman equivalent I think)?

>>83931156
Would there be things other than stand users in the tower?

Like maybe some rooms filled with lasers or something that pits them against an environment or a puzzle?
>>
>>83931292
No one's brought up these guys yet.
>>
>>83931343
PERFECT. God damn.
Could throw in Coconuts if anyone has a good enough idea for him.
>>83931329
I figure one "trap room" - the one Xavier gets Max's team through - is enough to show. Maybe another one for Scruffy's "fight".
We can assume there are more, but we don't really need to show them.

Could work since it's pre-80s. The short you're talking about is "The First Bad Man" by Tex Avery I believe?

We probably do need a Scope Man from Superjail in our part 8 now, with the reveal of Caato. Then again, we have no idea if she is or if she isn't. Really, we just might need a character from part 6.
>>
>>83931431
Yeah, that's the one. I thought it'd be good to foreshadow the Scopemen in our part 6.

>>83931392
I was just trying to come up with something more for Max's group to do without needing to come up with any more stands.
>>
>>83931343
>>83931392
>Grounder's Stand accentuates stress points in walls and other objects, causing them to fracture and collapse when struck
>Scratch's is a turret-like device that fires any small object placed in its bucket out of its barrel at high speed
>Coconuts' causes things to explode with energy on impact based on how far they've travelled
So Grounder collapses walls, Scratch fires the rubble, and Coconuts makes it explode on impact. (I basically just cribbed what their in-game mook counterparts do.)
Because they're robots empowered by Wernstrom, their Stands are all kind of limited and shitty, but working together they're enough to irritate the celebrities, until Donald bursts through the ceiling and takes out Coconuts, reducing them to basically throwing rocks at a group of pissed off Stand users.
>>
>>83931581
「Ground Level」, 「Cluck Old Hen」, and 「Coconut Grove」?
>>
>>83931668
I can dig.
>>
>>83931668
Oh, and
>Ground Level looks like a muscular, red cross between Grounder and Screw Head from GoBots
>Cluck Old Hen is just the Clucker's turret from the StH games
>Coconut Grove is a robotic palm tree with arms and legs
Kind of frustrating if I want the Warner Siblings to fight them, though, since Dot's Stand only works on living flesh. Maybe the Seeds could attach to the robots, but they only grow if they have nutrients to drain?
>>
>>83931940
>>Coconut Grove is a robotic palm tree with arms and legs.
When they are first show we get this interaction.

>"Hows ya nuts, bark breath!"
>...
>"Ha, bark breath, he blows googly eyed trees!"
>>
>>83931940
I thought they were cyborgs?

Then again, my only knowledge of these characters comes from Mean Bean Machine.
>>
>>83932312
Badniks are generally small animals being used as batteries to power robots. So they're kind of like cyborgs, but not in a way that would let Dot use her Stand properly.
Since badniks have been powered by power rings and stuff like that before, my headcanon here is that Wernstrom built a trio of robots using jawbreakers as batteries.
>>
>>83931148
posing caressing and licking
>>
Revised tower plan. Yay? Nay?
>Celebs go in at the ground floor, UR + Donald go in at the 100th floor
>UR: Wernstrom/Doctor Doctor/Robot Devil/PBTT fight
>Celebs: Darla Dimple fight
>UR: Baron O'Beef Dip/Administrator fight
>Celebs: Xavier puzzle room
>UR: Elevator ride and Big Guys fight
>Show Dogbert getting called by Patrick and told to make as many obstacles as possible
>UR deal with Scruffy
>Celebs: Scratch/Grounder/Coconuts fight
>UR: Dogbert encounter, Varrick fight
>UR: Gift shop (Neron fight? I think it'd be a fitting way to cap off Squidward's redemption arc for the finale)
>Plucky vs Bill
>UR: Patrick fight
>>
>>83933368
sounds pretty cool.
>>
Does anyone remember what Ami and Yumi's Stands did? If I want to write the Badnik fight, I'll want to make it so that their Stands wouldn't just let them bypass it. (They're not in the docs, and Desustorage is down.)
>>
>>83933537
one of them generates clouds that "marks" targets, allowing the user to turn herself and the marked target gaseous. I don't remember the other one, but it was a glove/gauntlet like Stand
>>
>>83933741
>>83933537
Ami (pink)'s stand let her mark things and then phase through them in gaseous form.

Yumi (purple)'s stand let her mold shadows into different shapes to attack things with.

Neither was really used for battle purposes during the studio bit, they just used them to make special effects during a music video.

And desustorage isn't down for me, it's search is just broken, but after going through about 6 threads and not finding their stands listed with a ctrl+f of the their names, I'm left wondering where the hell those two are since I was there when it happened.

Stand User: Yumi Yoshimura
Stand: 「PERFUME」
Appearance: A thickly built purple suit akin to hazmat gear, the helmet adorned with a single large pink eye like jewel as its sight point
Ability: 「PERFUME」 is a suit type Stand that is constantly emitting a stream of opaque purple cumulus clouds. Whenever the clouds come into contact with a surface, that point is 「STAINED」. When 「PERFUME」 itself comes into contact with a stained point, it and and the user are allowed to assume gaseous form and pass through the area as if it were a membrane and reach whatever is considered the 「INSIDE」 of what was passed through and shrink to fit if necessary.

User: Ami Onuki
Stand: 「RAINBOW IN THE DARK」
Appearance: An ornate gauntlet/sleeve combination made of an extremely lustrous metal
Ability: When 「RAINBOW IN THE DARK」 activates, it carries the ability of manipulating the 「SHADOWS」 of anything within a 5 meter sphere of the user's hand so long as the gauntlet is under a light source. The shadows are collected into a central mass and then split into a number of monster-like 「SPECTERS」 dependent on the size of the shadows first absorbed. 「SPECTERS」 carry physical mass and carry the ability to damage things either directly or via attacks on the target's shadow if it still has one.

Minor suggestion: The noise that Steam Machine makes should be a steam train's chugging, which gets louder and faster the angrier Donald gets. When he's particularly mad and about to let loose a particularly strong attack, it flexes and gives off a train whistle WHOOT-WHOOOOO.
This could also happen when [STEAM MACHINE] evolves into [STEAM MACHINE EPISODE 2] before Donald jumps into hell.
>>
Hey, whoever removed this from the doc,

>The Urban Rangers find another elevator (there’s no single elevator that goes from the ground floor to the top)
>Baron o'Beef Dip is in it when it arrives
>They immediately turn around, with blacked out eyes like in the JoJo iced tea scene, to take the stairs for the next part (leading to a battle on the stairs)

I was planning on them meeting the Barron for the third and final time with the blacked out eyes "nope" bit.
>>
>>83935323
Ah. I wrote that, and was a fan of it, but I assumed we were replacing it with the second encounter.
To be honest, I'm not a fan of that one - I feel like having an uneventful ride with the Baron kind of ruins the humor in the fact that it's impossible to know whether it's really a demon, but what can you do. I think that if they were willing to ride with the Baron once, it's kind of silly for them to just walk away for the next one.
>>
So I'll assume that Ami, Yumi and anyone else unmentioned are dealing with other security in the building.
[After Scruffy fight]
>Cut back down the tower to Max and the Celebrities. Yakko has used [CLIFFS OF DOVER] to form "smeared" barricades out of the floor, protecting against the rapid barrage of explosives from the Badniks. Since the barricades are smeared, they're pretty flimsy; Wakko is using [DON'T PASS ME BY] to add [VALUE] to their durability, but is quickly running out of coins (I figure it needs some time to recharge if it increases value by a lot in a short space of time), since each time it [DAMAGES] the barricades to add more durability, it becomes less able to damage them, and the high rate of fire from [CLUCK OLD HEN] is doing serious damage.
>Dot's firing on the Badniks with [PRISONER], but doing only a little damage due to her shots not taking root in their metal; some of them are sticking, but they're not draining any nutrients or power, and can be brushed off fairly easily.
>Max instructs Tanya, who's been attacking as best she can, to hold back; there's a lot of rocks flying, and if she's injured with a lot of blood out she could be seriously hurt.
>Max summons [I2I], but none of the Badniks are paying enough attention to him; Coconuts and Grounder are throwing rocks into [CLUCK OLD HEN]'s bucket, and Scratch is focusing fire on the barricades themselves. Max uses the [CASTAWAY] line to drag [CLUCK OLD HEN]'s barrel around towards him, alerting Scratch, who looks up and makes eye contact with [I2I].
>Scratch tries to go back to what he was doing, but rapidly realises [I2I]'s effects; he's forced to use Grounder as his spotter, keeping eye contact with Max's stand while Grounder tells him where to point his turret. Max tries to pull the turret away from the others, especially Tanya, but Scratch forces it back around.
cont.
>>
>>83935720
>Dot, while firing, manages to hit one of the rocks out of the air, causing it to land and explode near the Badniks, distracting them and causing Scratch to suffer from Max's Stand. Realising the potential of this, she and Tanya start to try and knock the rocks out of the sky with their Stands. However, one of the rocks knocks [CLUCK OLD HEN]'s barrel upwards, causing it to fire over the barricades.
>Yakko quickly smears them further upwards, but they're easily broken by the explosions. One rock flies through a gap broken in the barricade, and it seems like it's going to hit Tanya, until Wakko - out of nowhere - punches it as hard as he can with [DON'T PASS ME BY].
>The punched rock, now with its explosiveness [VALUE] increased by everything Wakko could spare, hits [CLUCK OLD HEN] head on, causing a huge explosion and knocking out Scratch.
>The team gets up to move past the barricades, only for Grounder and Coconuts to still be standing. They ready [GROUND LEVEL] and [COCONUT GROVE] to fight the celebrities, and pause, as water drips down onto Grounder's nose.
>"Is that... water?"
>[STEAM MACHINE] crashes through the ceiling, landing on Grounder and pounding him into the floor. A raging Donald drops down after him.
>"BWAHWAHWAHWAHWAHWAH - Max!"
>Max and Donald have a heartfelt reunion
>Coconuts, sneaking away in the background, gets swatted by a smear from Yakko's Stand
If someone else with a bit more experience with the characters wants to spruce up the dialogue, be my guest.
>>
>>83935684
We could just merge the two.

Have the UR "nope" out of it and then argue for a bit before begrudgingly entering the elevator.

>The UR reluctantly trudge back into the elevator
>>
>>83935720

>>
>>83936444
>>83933368
>>
>>83935836
>>83936065
Baron also has a stand suggestion, but I can't remember it. We could include an elevator fight against him too.
>>
>>83937356
are you sure isn't the Baron-like Stand from the AU?
>>
>>83937407
Nope. There was a suggestion he be fought in this part. Nothing really came of it though.
>>
>>83937356
Oh, for god's sake, no. That ruins the entire point of including him. It was shot down when it was first suggested.
>>
>>83937476
Don't exaggerate. We discussed and considered it a bit before deciding it might be best if he was just a gag. But honestly that feels boring. Plus, how does he move around?

He could get a quick fight before they reach Patrick's office. It wouldn't ruin him or the "point" of his character because there isn't any. I don't know, but he just feels like wasted potential like this.
>>
>>83937666
Either Dogbert or Scruffy's Stand could haul the statue around. Heck, maybe after being fired, Dogbert goes to the Baron and packs him inside his box.
>>
>>83937787
Yes, this is along the lines of what I was thinking.
>>
>>83937666
>>83937787
Disagreed, I guess. I do think revealing one way or another whether he's a demon or juat a creepy statue would devalue things. The mystery of how he moves around just adds to that.
I can't think of any way he could be fought that would make things more interesting.
>>
>>83937958
This
>UR evading what's possibly just a creepy statue: funny
>UR evading a demon which they then have to fight: not particularly funny
>>
Also, the entire reason that Patrick's shelf of objects exists is so that the Baron could show up there, with the idea being that he's either the representative object of a demon or just a random knickknack.
I dunno, man, taking a character whose entire point and humor lies in its ambiguity and clarifying it seems like a bad idea. We've got enough fights in this gauntlet without padding it out more.
>>
>>83938326
Maybe we have it so after they nope away from the elevator and then come back, he's no longer in it.

But then I'd feel unsatisfied if he didn't make a third appearance being picked up by Dogbert on his way out.

In an ideal world, we'd use the HFTF control scheme. Is that possible?

>>
>>83939244
The one who said we should use GG controls especifically said against that, but I'll look that up and hope we still can fit them in there. We will not be able to maintain that traditionality if the HFTF controls are too complex though.
>>
>>83939344
Chaka, Khan, JoJo, Hol Horse... there's a few Heritage characters without active Stands. What's the issue?
>>
>>83939470
The fact that Kuzco and the pillarmen are supposed to play like BlazBlue characters.

But you do have a point about almost any other character.

Jack would play almost the same as Chaka.
and Courage could literally be Iggy.
>>
>>83939126
We'd have to go back and restructure most of the characters, then.
Out of all movesets created, Captain N seems out of place, seeing as he's a minor character. Should he be removed?
>>
>>83941224
Part 6 characters shouldn't be brought up much at all since part 6 barely has anything in it anymore. We're kinda starting from scratch and all we have in the potential idea of Warden building the prison over some ancient ruins for some purpose. All he wants to do is imprison the whole world, but the means of doing that are ambiguous right now.

The possible plot outline had Dora/Hero arrive, get sent to regular prison, accidentally reveal her stand in an escape attempt, go to Pure Imagination, engage in Hunger Games, and then... Nothing much really. The Hunger Games thing is suggested to be because Pure Imagination gets stronger the more that are killed within it, and Warden wants it strong enough to engulf the world, and will further boost it with something in the ruins and some other stand possibly, but all of this is very tentative.

With everything being gutted, we don't even have a cast aside from Warden. Judge Doom and Dora are both possible set characters, but we don't know yet.

We'll work on it more when we get there.

I thought it was Judge Dredd. I'm still not really sold on using a Judge as one of the Warden's lackeys.

With the archives all jumbled, I probably should go find the other ideas I had for part 6 so they don't get lost when the time comes to finally discuss them in earnest.
>>
>>83941587
It's fanfiction.
>>
>>83941603
Welp, now the archives no longer work for me either. I had ideas for the beginning of part 6 that I had posted at the end of a thread a while back after it had hit bump limit.

This is what I get for trusting the archives to still be there when I wanted to check something.

So anyway, our 4 big guys are:
-Monstroso
-Bane
-Kingpin
-Peter Potamus

Right?
>>
>>83941788
Put them in the Part 6 doc.
>>
>>83941788
Right I guess? Those are our Big Guys.
>>
>>83941852
The doc for part 6 just looks like a mess to me. As much as I want to fix the damn thing so it actually looks like our other docs, I have the feeling it will lead to much bitching and moaning in the threads, and I really don't have time for that since we still have part 5 to finish.

>>83941870
OK, so what are their stands?

Do they all wear costumes to activate their stands? Monstroso puts on his devil horns, Bane puts a mask on top of his mask, Kingpin has his rhino costume, and Peter has a... yellow raincoat?
>>
>>83941998
If Desu is up, Monstroso Stand is Justice for All, Bane's is in the doc and the Hippo's Stand is this one:
「SATIN SOUL」 (Barry White song)
Appearance: A vaguely humanoid stand composed of a translucent slime wearing armbands, bracers, collars, belts, etc. (Like pic related)
Abilities: A wearable Stand that can be placed in both allies and enemies. Once placed, the wearer immediately gains a hardened hide that increases his defense and is also slippery (the wearer looks like Dexter in the episode where he laminates himself), increasing its defense. Additionally, the Stand user can manipulate the density of the wearer, making him either very heavy or extremely light. This ability allows the user to hinder an enemy or increase an ally’s strength, or making an ally very agile.

We did establish that Superjail was made by Covert Government/Strickland foundation funding as a jail for Stand users.

We're keeping Dora. But her drug ties are firmer. She only has a recent Stand because she insisted on trying the stuff she was shipping. It just so happened she was also smuggling Jawbreakers. One of the final batches.

She gets caught and tossed in Jail.

From there it's pretty iffy. With early jail shenanigans turning into outright battles as she finds her way to Pure Imagination after starting fights.

Turns out PI is where unruly inmates go. The ones with "unpromising stands" get to stay as justification for the funding the Warden needs to keep the jail running.

Maybe we limit the Warden's stand to needing Stand users to die inside it specifically. It's not until he gets to a certain point that any death will do.

Judge Dredd fits here. Hell, if we replaced Jail bots with Mechanismos it'd be perfect.

I again mention the neat contrast in political idealogues in villains between Part 6 and 7.

Mr. Nobody and The Warden make great foils to each other. I so want them to have banter in the fighting game.
>>
>>83942262
Sure thing.

What do you have in mind?
>>
>>83943221
I've been having trouble painting the picture in my mind, so this is what I've come up with so far:

>The UR exit the elevator, the floor they've been forced to stop on is dark
>In the distance they can hear grunting, moaning, and roaring
>The UR step out of the elevator just as it drops, crashing down to floors below and the doors slam together
>They proceed with caution to the where they hear the noises coming from
>The UR peer around a corner and see two men doing... something (we should avoid showing what's happening here for the "what if" miracle this ever becomes drawn) with a third holding a mic boon and a fourth big guy working a camera
>Rolf is first to see this and says nothing
>Dexter looks around the corner, then takes his glasses off
>Squidward looks and we can't really tell what he's emoting since he always has his handsome face on
>Taffy looks and notes to himself "I'm glad none of the others are here to see this"
>Finally Cartman looks and says "Ahh, sick, what are they doing?"
>Rolf says "Are you so simple? They are preforming the tradition wrestling moves of the old country. Look. The thorny lion fish maneuver being evaded by the garden eel stream. Rolf does not recognize the equipment though."
>Cartman doesn't buy this
>One of the big guys whisper yells "Quiet on set." while the others finish
>They all erect themselves and they are all very large, and they begin to glow with stand power
>Cartman interject "No, this is not OK, pause. Pause! What the fuck? No, seriously, what the fuck?"
>Monstroso speaks "Sometimes the office gets a bit too boring and, well, we can't be boring here, that'd put our lives in danger."
>One of the others chimes in "So we do porn to appease the demons."
>Cartman is still confused and angry looking
>"It's not always gay porn, the girls have today off since we're shooting 'Anal Brackets XV: Insertion Taxation, the Tax Return."
cont, but I don't have much else to add to it right now.
>>
>>83943937
It's here they should rattle off some of their other work, them making note of the ones with girls in the pictures, then end with one of them saying it makes them a shit load of extra money.
The fact they do this for money should be enough to piss off Cartman, but not enough to make his stand take its hood off.

Then the fighting starts I guess.
>>
>>83943937
Demongo probably puts on his little demon horns and says "You have to understand that working with a devil as CEO places some... burden on your accounting table. Sure if you produce well done labor, if counts towards keeping the demon satisfied, but eh... it's not enough. Having your salary and job depend on the appeasement of a demon leads to some... kinky problems."

Here is where Bane comes in, butting on the mask and doing the Belt Pose. "In the best case scenario, you get fired. In the worst case scenario, your boss decides to balance out your debt by having... fun. It's the sad side effect of being a current asset here. We've already lost one of our own in this way."

Here we see MotoMoto in an oiled painting with the words, "For you forever" engraved on a gold plate."

Here the other hippo says, "we did 'Debbie clears her T-Bills (and gets spitroasted by two BIG hippos)' together." He sheds a tear.

Dexter says, "I do not vant to ashk, but, who vas Debbie?"

Bane sighs, runs his hand over his mask and says "Darla Dimple, a total diva".

We finish up the Darla fight.

He was moved to the stock market. I think you meant Monstroso.

The Darla fight was also already concluded before this encounter, Xavier met up with Max's group after that on a higher floor. Not sure where Xavier is in >>83935720 >>83935758 , but he's supposed to be with them by then.

>Debbie clears her T-Bills (and gets spitroasted by two BIG hippos)
inb4 /tv/ makes a porno out of this

Here is a random idea for the fight:
>Peter Potamus: Well, since it looks like we are gonna have some more action, let me get...my lube
>He pulls a weird looking bottle from somewhere
>The UR expect an attack from the bottle, so Taffy turns it into cheese
>The hippo squeezes the cheesed bottle anyway, and a strange fluid splashes all over him while moaning
>Peter Potamus is now coated in a transparent layer, with armbands, necklaces and stuff
>Dexter: That's it your Stand's ability, getting laminated? I did that once in my lab, no big deal.
>Peter: and I betcha you enjoyed it as much as I am enjoying it right now
>Dexter just reels in disgust
>>
>>83945009
Yep, this is the level I can't seem to get on, which is why I've been having so much trouble with thinking this fight out... that and the fact that we didn't have the big guys members set until this thread.
>>
>>83945009
and another idea
>Dexter looks away, trying to avoid watching the spectacle
>He Notices an Antonio Banderas Blowup Doll and begrudgingly wraps his Stand around it to fight.
>>
>>83947275
The problem is its super lubed up so his Stand can barely work properly.
>>
>>83947275
Keep 'em coming. I'd like this fight to be more of a group effort than to attempt it solo.
>>
>>83947637
Still can't get into the archive, so I can't check what's Monstroso Stand.

>Bane managed to sting Cartman with one of his Stand's darts and it's feeding on Catman's anger.
>It grows until a certain point after Bane teased Cartman about his fatness, but still hasn't reached its climax
>Cartman yells something about respecting his authoritah
>Bane: Oh, but I respect you
>Cartman is puzzled: Wait, you respect me?
>Bane: I respect you and I desire you!
>This drives Cartman mad, causing Bane's Stand to hulk up to the max
Also, if somehow they manage to keep Cartman in check, Bane probably fires a dart at Peter and makes his Stand feed on the excitement that the hippo got from being coated in his Stand.
At this point I'm pretty sure I'm writing some weird-ass porno instead of a fight scene
>>
>>83948044
>At this point I'm pretty sure I'm writing some weird-ass porno instead of a fight scene.
After the "fight", we get this line.
>Cartman: "Let's all agree to never tell anybody about the the fucked up shit we were just part of"
>Everyone else: "Agreed"

Why not Lionel Hutz or Adam West or something?

>Rolf is fistfighting Kingpin, who doesn't appear to have a Stand
>Kingpin's kind of clumsy and stumbling around a lot, so Rolf's getting more hits in even if they don't hurt much
>"To a master of Old Country wrestling like Rolf, your movements are in slow motion!"
>Kingpin ignores this, but starts grunting, clearly being riled up. His swings get wilder and wilder, and he's punching holes in the walls and floor.
>Rolf manages to knock him onto his ass, where he lets out a roar, and dives into a nearby closet. Rolf summons Revolving Doors to make a door into the closet, only for Kingpin to burst out in a skintight rhino-skin suit.
>"BRING ME MY HORN! THIS CHILD MUST PAY!"

Scruffy's is this one:
「DREAM THEATER」 (American Band)
Appearance: A skinny avian humanoid (like the skeksis in Dark Crystal or the kroot in WH40K) with a sickly and pale skin, long arms with sharp claws and a fanged beak, its lower body is composed of a bunch of blueprints. It usually remains submerged on the walls from the waist down, generating a purple vortex around it.
Abilities: The Stand can bind itself to a building, allowing it to traverse through it and keep the entire structure under surveillance. While bound to the building it can manipulate any inanimate object that belongs to said building, like chairs, doors, etc., using them to attack and hinder intruders (breaking windows close to them or immobilizing an elevator).
Whenever someone opens a door inside the building, 「DREAM THEATER」can change the room at the other side of that door, allowing him to lure opponents into traps and rooms with allied Stand users.

We might have to make up a new one for Monstroso. I don't even recall us actually coming up with one for him outside of the name.

>>83949472
Like smashes him through a wall before he could make a door to soften the impact?
>>
Quick writeup for Kingpin's.
User: Wilson Fisk, aka The Kingpin, aka The Rhino
Stand:「RHINO SKIN」 - When Fisk wears any costume with a "horn" on the forehead, he will form a vortex of air to pull things and people in front of him when he runs. The kinetic energy dispensed on impact from his charging is also enhanced by the Stand.
>>
>>83954375
Oh, and Peter Potamus will likely use his own Stand to slide gracefully over to Kingpin with the horn helmet.
>>
>>83953723
Monstroso got Demongo's original stand suggestion, but I have no idea what that was since it was never relevant when it came time to write the parts.

Outside of that, I think that's all that was ever said about Monstroso's stand.
>>
>>83955110
It was something about writing laws that compelled his targets to obey them, if the said targets are Stand users, they can resist them, but that allows Monstroso to retaliate with [legal actions]. there was the issue about defining what those Legal actions could be.
>>
>>83956038
Sounds like it's in need of a re-write.

I guess we'll have to get their stands all sorted before we can proceed with the fighting.
>>
>>83957324
Quite.
In the meantime, here's something for after the Big Guys fight.
>Cut up to Dogbert's office
>Dogbert's writing something, Scruffy is sweeping the floor. The phone rings.
>Dogbert answers it. "Hello?"
>"Dogbert. These intruders are fighting off everything in the tower that we're throwing at them. The microphone broke which means Customer Service is down, the nose picker's broken which means Legal is down..."
>"I keep telling you, Patrick, it's not a -"
>"Save it! I need you and your lackey to deal with them, or you're both fired." There's a click as Patrick hangs up.
>Scruffy leans on his broom. "So. What's the plan?" Dream Theater emerges from the wall behind him.
>"The "plan" is you shut up and do exactly what I tell you. Now, let's see..."

>The UR are walking away from another fight, with the staff of Mr. Meaty, who are all seen unconscious.
>Taffy: "What is with all the meat in this place? How many fast food stops does one tower need?"
>Rolf: "A healthy diet of much cook-ed meat is the staple food of the Old Country diet, mouse-child. All God's creatures make the hard worker strong when fresh off the grill, yes?"
Aaand I'm no good with traps, so I'm not sure what would work here, but I'm thinking that Scruffy basically traps them in an infinite loop of rooms with Dream Theater.
Also, when Dogbert gets the call telling him he's fired, it should go like this.
>"They've gone straight through the traps you set up, Dogbert. You've failed. You and -" There's a pause.
>Scruffy leans over to the phone. "Scruffy. The janitor."
>"...The two of you are fired!"
>>
>>83958377
It should be like that Xavier episode where he starts off in a room of doors.and gets put in different scenarios. But even if they die. They return to the room.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gfja7ofOhxg

To get out Taffy probably looks at the ceiling and realizes there's an escape hatch.
>>
>>83958788
I was actually thinking that they'd realise that it's the doors being messed with and start breaking them down or through the walls next to them, since Scruffy's Stand specifically affects the doors.
An escape hatch seems kind of like an easy out.
>>
>>83958377
Customer Services didn't even get a scene in Patrick's office.

I think the electric nose picker breaking is what should tip Patrick off to how high they've gotten in the tower.
>>
>>83959000
Still, it's a department, so I think we can assume it had an item. I just needed something to pad that sentence out with, since it didn't flow right otherwise, and this way it's a vibe of "they're taking out EVERYTHING" rather than just "they've taken out the Big Guys".
>>
>>83959037
If Customer Service got an item, I'd say it be a brochure for a cruise or something. Mainly because I always see those things lined up whenever I go to Customer Service.

Could also be a phone or a stress toy thing, or do we have that already?
>>
>>83960045
The phone is Telephone Avatar, and I mean that he IS the phone.

Make it so that the room they end up in is actually a lot closer to the top of the tower than they were, because Scruffy randomly picked rooms that they hadn't yet reached to use for the trap.

>>
>「JUSTICE FOR ALL」 (Metallica album)
>Appearance: A heavily ornate fountain pen and judge mallet.
>Abilities: The pen of 「JUSTICE FOR ALL」 allows the user to quickly write down a legal order in a special demonic parchment with the seal of the WB. Once the user proclaims out loud the order and smacks the mallet, anyone in the surroundings that is aware of the order will be compelled to obey it. Stronger willed individuals, like Stand users, are able to directly defy these orders, however this allows the Stand User to conduct 「Legal actions」 against the lawbreakers, with a second smack of the mallet. The full scope of these 「Legal actions」 is unknown but the user's favourite method is summoning a squad of demonic soldiers (like the ones from Ugly Americans) to dispatch the offenders.
>Weaknesses: In order for the writs to have any effect they must be written in the special parchments, requiring the user to carry around a stock of these. The Stand User and his allies are also subject to the orders created, so it needs to carefully think all the consequences that may derive from each order.

Needs a re-write.

>Everyone is physically compelled onto the set while Monstroso begins filming it
>He makes various decrees while this is happening to make it increasingly gayer

I actually think one of them should have a stand that just makes up acronyms for things.

Numbuh 3's stand could be her giant rabbit mecha that always gets destroyed.

Numbuh 5's stand should have something to do with candy. Don't know what though. Alternatively it should be able to let her see far away distances.

Numbuh 1's could probably just let him shoot lasers from his eyes as a Cyclops reference. And Numbuh 2's might be able to turn average objects into weapons, or something to do with his detective skills.

User: Neron (Marvel Comics)
Stand: [GENETIC REPO MAN]
Appearance: A horned humanoid wearing armor based on Neron's classic costume, covered in chains which it uses to attack.
Ability: [SQUARE AWAY YOUR DEBTS]: Neron can [exchange] any two items with each other using his Stand; this can apply to position and ownership, amongst other things. If he wishes to [exchange] any item owned by another person, that person must believe that the item it is being replaced with is of equal value to it.
Exchanges of ownership will be temporary, reverting when the Stand is dismissed, unless written into a formal contract signed by both the owner and Neron.

>Varrick is defeated and sent on his way downstairs. The UR climb the final set of stairs, to a door labelled Gift Shop.

>The UR enter, but as they all get into the room, a tall, muscular demon in a suit steps out from behind one of the shelves. "Hello, Squidward."
>The door slams shut behind them and Squidward freaks out.
>Dexter: "Who are you? What do you want?"
>"Not going to introduce us, Squidward? very well. I am Neron, head of Acquisitions. Responsible for the four businessmen, the soul collectors, and talent scouts such as Mr. Tentacles here." He turns to Squidward. "So, Squidward. Here to deliver your team's souls to me, are you?"
>"Go to hell."
>"I'm not scheduled for that until my 4 o'clock with Mephisto. Really, now. Do you think they're ever going to forgive you or accept you after what you did?"

>Neron laughs. [GENETIC REPO MAN] appears behind him, and yanks Squidward off his feet with its chains. "I don't have time for you. I've got bigger souls to steal." (Two To Tango takes this as a "no".)
>Neron advances, but Squidward gets back up and stands between him and the UR, determined to stop him.
>Neron: "Really? This is just pathetic. You've got nothing that could faze me, and you insist on putting yourself in danger instead of even trying to come back to the winning team?"
>Squidward seriousfaces in response, not saying anything; but then, Two To Tango is suddenly wrapped in [3 Feet High]. He looks back to see Dexter stepping up to join him.
>Taffy is the next to come forward, creating cheese behind Neron for them to use in a fight. Squidward looks, pleadingly, at Rolf, who simply nods and steps forward, [REVOLVING DOORS] at the ready.
>Cartman yells that they should cut the sappy bullshit and just fight this fucking demon already. The Urban Rangers [POSE AS A TEAM] because [SHIT'S ABOUT TO GET REAL].

>After going through a few rooms, Dexter stops them. "Does dees room seem... familiar to you?"
>The others look around. Squidward points out that it's a boring, generic room, and that they've gone through plenty like it, but Dexter claims that they went through the same room only a minute ago.
>Turning around to go back and prove his point, he walks through several rooms that weren't there previously before getting back to the room he started in, surprising the others.
>"Rolf is thinking... that this must be the workings of an enemy Stand!"
>As if on cue, [DREAM THEATER] emerges from the wall, and begins attacking the UR with the room's furniture. They flee onwards through the doors, and Dream Theater begins pursuing. Rolf is using his staff and Cartman and Squidward are using their Stands to deflect attacks; Taffy is using his to wrest control of objects from Scruffy.
>Dexter suddenly makes the others stop. Squidward yells at him to ask what he's doing, but he just tells the others to look closely at the next door when they enter the room.
>They enter, and they see a light flash behind the door on the other side of the room. Dexter reasons that the enemy Stand must be using the doors to create this loop of rooms. Rolf hits the wall next to the door with his staff to create a door, which has a room they've never seen before on the other side of it, and they run through. Squidward points out the floor number on the staircase, indicating that they're much higher up than they were before.

>>83979825
I'm ok with it.
>>
>>83981094
I'm... not sure. I'm still working off of >>83933368
so if anyone wants to amend that, better make it clear.
>>
>Stand: 「HANDLEBARS」
>Appearance: Somewhat like the cross between Stone Free and the original design of Gali from Bionicle with some Water Tribe elements. Maybe have a hood over the head?
>Ability: A short range Stand that allows the user to touch, hold, and manipulate gases and liquids as though they were malleable solids. This allows her to mold nearby elements into weapons. Often carries protective gloves and several bottles of dangerous chemicals and gases to use as torture devises. The only thing worse then having your face carved is having your face carved with a makeshift knife made out of a toxic acid.
>Could give it the userless Glass Onion Stand's ability to turn liquids into razor sharp objects
>Destructive Power: A
>Speed: B
>Range: D
>Durability: B
>Precision: C
>Developmental Potential: B

Everyone okay with this for Varrick? The appearance feels pretty Korra-specific, so we should probably change that. The razor liquid ability feels kind of overplayed by this point.
>>
>>83981517
Let me check the doc and see what we currently have done.

>Ground floor distraction and floor 100 insertion
>UR vs Wernstrom and Doctor Doctor fights
>Celebrities VS Darla Dimple
>UR on the customer service floor
>Xavier meets up with Max's group and does the puzzle room
>UR get sent to the big guys by Scruffy and fight them
>Max's group VS Scratch/Grounder/Coconuts
>UR going in circles in Dogbert's trap, then not fighting him because he got fired

That's all done.

And I'm right back to >>83969061 in asking if we want to cut back to Max's group before moving on to Varrick?
>>
>>83973831
Idk.

Cut off the supply of souls to hell. Effectively making it useless.
>>
>>83981756
Just speaking personally, I wrote the Max's group fight to go after the Scruffy trap originally. I can't really think of anything else for Max's group to do.
The idea was for all the UR's fights except for right at the end to be broken up by cuts to elsewhere, so that they can feasibly have skipped floors in the meantime.
>Wernstrom/Doctor Doctor is followed by Darla
>Customer Service is followed by Xavier
>Big Guys are followed by Dogbert and Scruffy getting their orders
>Scruffy's trap is followed by the Badniks
Et cetera. I wouldn't be opposed to rearranging it if people have a decent concept for another celebrity scene, though.
>>
>>83982140

Maybe we move the Varrick fight to be Max and the gang's final one?

He isn't placed there to stop them. Just to hold out enough for the UR to not have their help.

Maybe Varrick let's loose that the top floor actually has Very dangerous shit.

Even though this chapter appears before the reveal, we already see the tower starting to break. Revealing that the celebs story was a few minutes ahead of the other guys.

"Get there before they kill Patrick? Guys,,, they beat Patrick five minutes ago..." cue building starting to collapse for unexplained reason.
>>
>>83982242
Maybe. I'm going to leave this one to people who actually know about Varrick.
Though the idea was that the executives at the top of the tower would forcefeed Varrick a jawbreaker as they escaped, so I'm not sure what he'd be doing down at the bottom, or how Donald would have missed him in his downward rampage.
>>
>>83982242
I don't really like.

>>83982471
Donald started at floor 100 of 666 and went down. Once he meets up with Max do they start going back up and end up dealing with some of the shit the UR bypassed, or do they go back down?
>>
>>83982839
I figure they'd go up in the hope of clearing out those Donald missed (he was going pretty fast), and possibly backing up the Urban Rangers. Of course, they're nowhere near far up enough to do that when the tower goes down.
>>
>>83983351
Where should they be when the tower goes down?

Rex, Shaggy, Scooby, and Fifi will be pretty close to the bottom, so it won't likely kill them.
They end up saving more lives than anyone just because they were clearing out all the unconscious WB employees the rest left in their wake, some of those will probably end up in Super Jail.
>>
>>83983415
Hmm. Who do we want to survive, and who do we want to kill off?
Max dies, obviously, and Donald survives. Tanya should live for pathos. The Warners should survive to become rulers of the Old Country, but maybe not all of them should? Rex Banner has always felt infinitely expendible to me; likewise Ami, Yumi and Fifi. I kinda want Morocco Mole to survive so he can speak to Gadget after the trial and take a message back to Penny. I suggested a while back that Scooby should save himself and Shaggy by wrapping them in his Stand, causing all the rubble to slip off them. Xavier's supposed to kill himself to open up a hell portal.
Pretty much all the random celebrities should be dead.
>>
>>83984249
All the celebrities that we didn't bother naming because they didn't get dedicated fights are probably dead.

But on the up side, they managed to fully break their contracts and reclaim their souls.
>>
>The UR arrive in Dogbert's office, and he prepares to fight them himself.
>He’s facing down the UR, glowing with stand power, with Scruffy having summoned Dream Theater to back him up, when the phone rings.
>"One moment." Dogbert walks back to his desk and picks up the phone.
>Patrick: “That was your plan? Making them run in circles?”
>Dogbert: “It was a devilishly complex mind trap meant to shatter the weak.”
>Patrick: “No, it was stupid!”
>Dogbert: “It was the Janitor's idea.”
>"They've gone straight through your traps, Dogbert. You had one job, and you've failed. You and -" There's a pause.
>Scruffy leans over to the phone. "Scruffy. The janitor."
>"...The two of you are fired!" The phone clicks, Patrick having hung up.
>Dogbert and Scruffy immediately desummon their Stands; Scruffy grabs a dirty backpack and stuffs some porn magazines into it, while Dogbert clears a variety of personal posessions and documents - including Baron O'Beef Dip - into his briefcase. The UR aren't really sure what to do; Cartman asks if they're fighting or not.
>"Nah, I don't have any reason to do these idiots' work for them any more. Out of the way, I'm leaving." He pauses halfway out the door, and turns back. "Good luck against the bosses. Give the fat one an ass-kicking from me."
>Scruffy likewise makes to leave, before: "Hey, you fellas want a lift? Top of the tower's off-limits to my Stand, but I can get you up as close as I can." Dream Theater appears and punches the door on the opposite side of the room, causing light to flash behind it."
>Taffy: "Uh... Thanks, Mr Janitor."
>"D'mention it. Later."

And then we go into the Varrick fight. I'll leave this one to someone who's actually watched Korra, since Varrick was apparently mainly included because people like the character; I don't think this is a fight that's going to get by on clever Stand use, we need dialogue for this one.
>>
>>83984841
I guess we should put >>83935720 >>83935758 after that. Just need to shuffle its position on the doc.

I still don't know where Xavier went during that fight. That should probably be addressed, like he was seducing the dream penguin in the closet of repercussions to stem the tied of wilted flowers being poured into the ass crack of fire or some other nonsense.
>>
Alright, gotta think. But I suck at dialogue most of the time...

>We see the demon employee lounge or whatever
>There are demons chatting about the chaos happening below them and how they're glad they probably won't have to fight the UR since they're still so many floors down
>Varrick is notably the only non-demon in the room and the demon he's talking to looks like he wishes he could commit suicide
>A demon comes through the door, sweating, out of breath, and yells "They're here!"
>The demons, who were all frozen in place like statues staring at him, suddenly come back to motion and do a mass panic
>Some summon portals and jump through them, others banish themselves back to hell, one jumps out a window
>Varrick is puzzled, "What? How come you guys didn't tell me you could do that?" as he's pulling on the sleeve of a demon trying to banish himself
>The UR enter the room, the last demon in the room is the one Varrick never stopped talking to
>In a panic, it pulls out a jawbreaker and shoves it in the Varrick's mouth to get him to shut up long enough for him leave
>The UR have watched this spectacle of "nope" unfold in silence (save for maybe Cartman fake lunging at a demon who tried to use the door to leave just to freak him out) and now only Varrick is left
>The UR lower their guard and start moving forward until they notice Varrick glowing with stand power and an insane grin on his face

How are we doing this fight? I figure Varrick is going to be full screwball here and he'll be annoying the UR with his new ideas with what to do with his spooky new friend.

When Varrick's leaving he should probably say he's going home to "do the thing" with his wife while he still can.
>>
>>83986152
Niceu, anon. Screwball seems the way to go - annoyance-fu that actually hits hard enough to put the gang at serious risk.
Issue: Where's he going to get the chemicals to fight with from in an employee lounge? Maybe there's a "drinks cabinet" filled with a load of dangerous chemicals, because they're demons?
>>
>>83986476
It's an employee lounge, I figure there's all kinds of toxic things in the fridge.

There's probably also leftover sulfur from the demons banishing themselves.
>>
I'm just coming up with a blank for the Varrick fight.

Somehow him messing with his new power needs to almost kill the UR, making them attack him while he ignores them and continues testing his new abilities.
>>
>>83987863
He shapes chemicals into sculptures, before deciding they aren't good enough and tossing them away so they hit the UR in the face?
>>
>>83988294
Wouldn't shaping them into machines be more his style?

A machine made out of chemicals, once the gears click to a certain point, two chemicals touch causing a reaction. Or something.
>>
>>83988553
That works pretty well. I don't know shit about Korra, I'm just tossing ideas out.
>>
>>83988938
All you need to know about Varrick is that he is eccentric, has many catchphrases ("Do the thing!"), and built a death laser out of vines and swamp water.
>>
>>83990217
>and built a death laser out of vines and swamp water.
Wot?
>>
>>83990346
He saw a giant evil spirit kaiju monster firing death lasers, one of them destroyed the wall to his jail cell while he was doing yoga (he just dodged it), he looked at the monster in the distance wrecking the city as he was escaping and thought "how can I replicate that?", and then he found a way.
>>
>>83990434
Makes sense to me.
>>
>>83990217
Cool. So, the UR walk in to find a demon riot with them all bursting into fire and sulphur as they banish themselves, and Varrick exploding with Stand Power in the middle of the room. As the last demons vanish, he starts to jabber excitedly about how it's all so obvious, and how the new ideas are all flooding in, and he has to get to work immediately.
The UR try to approach him, but he ignores them, going for the chemical-filled drinks cabinet and shattering the bottles to grab the chemicals out of them. Cartman tries to get his attention with Amerika ("Hey, we're talking to you!") only for Handlebars to casually toss a handful of acid over its shoulder and into Cartman's face, giving him acid burns. The UR try to attack him for it, only for Handlebars to fight back despite Varrick seemingly not noticing them.
So, the fight is mostly him trying to build his brilliant new creation and the UR dealing with the byproducts, as well as actively contending with the Stand itself. Maybe throw in him building some smaller inventions and testing them out on the Rangers.
>>
>>83990469
What is his new creation? He's the kind of guy who could get just as excited over starting a new line of clothes for pets as building a giant war machine.

One of his things is he eats a bunch of peppers, stands on his head, and rattles off a bunch of nonsense that his secretary records, then reads back to him, then he makes whatever bullshit he came up with.

That's the kind of nutjob he is, brilliant, but still a nujob.

His new creation should be something totally harmless and benign, something that came come up in a later part as a hugely successful line of products.
But what?

What are our steel ball equivalents?
>>
>>83990639
Have it be a giant cosmetics machine that physically processes the chemicals involved into shampoo and other products. He activates it, and the UR duck for cover, only for it to start churning out various beauty products while it slowly shrinks in size. Rolf then hits him on the head with his staff, knocking him back to reality.
>>
>>83990743
Oh, and after the UR move on up the stairs to the gift shop and Varrick leaves downstairs, the entire machine collapses into a puddle, which then explodes.
>>
>>83990765
I kind of want whatever he makes to come up again later.

Or maybe he sponsors someone in the race.
>>
>>83991443
It'd be fun to allude to it, but it's a bit late to be tying this into major plot elements without a solid concept.
>>
>>83991867
>>83990765
>>83990639
>>83990469

It'd be a neat thing to have him create something, and when he gets defeated he still keeps the prototype and manages to mass produce it.

But what would it be?

If he appears next in Part 7, it'd be nice if it was smokeable halucinagens. Or inception-like drugs that let friends take trips together.

That's the kind of shit Mr.Nobody would approve of. Friends opening their minds to the possibilities together. Exploring the universe from the comfort of a couch!
>>
>>83992220
Just have him show up with these drugs in part 7; the implication that it's because of his chemical-manipulating Stand isn't hard to grasp. It doesn't need to be directly tied to what he builds here.
>>
>>83991867
>>83992220
Like I was saying, what is out equivalent to the steel balls in out part 7? Maybe he invents some kind of ball that releases chemicals or...

Dino Caps. He invents Dino Caps. All the racers can store their cars in Dino Caps. He finds a way to chemically compress matter into a small spherical form that's light enough to carry.

You know, Dino Caps, those things in Dragon Ball?
>>
>>83992533
that's pretty cool.

Also explains away how they can get off their cars all the time without worrying about getting it stolen.

Although we should do a chapter where the protag's car is stolen.
>>
>>83992533
>>83992622
We can't have /a/ content in here though. That's why we're scrapping Speed Racer.

Although a Toonami race hosted by T.O.M. would be pretty interesting.
>>
>>83992665
that's why he renamed it to something else.

If you have a qualm with that being a thing, you might as well have a problem with Stands being used at all.

As it stands, we can just say the winners of the first Round of the race get the caps. That way they have to earn it.
>>
>>83992665
Anon, we already have stands out the ass, that's something right from JoJo.

An /a/ character I'd be inclined to agree with you, but this is purely a concept that's used for plot connivance.

>>83992747
Yeah, they should be one of the prizes early on.
>>
>>83992533
The original pastebin of part 7 mentions that both [Stretch] and [Space] can use balls to channel each ability.

>>83992665
In an older thread, there was an idea that Nobody mentions the races from other universes and there is an /a/ race in one of them.
>>
>>83992823
Really disliked that we dropped Hamon. What stops us from using Steel Balls?
>>
>>83992665
>Toonami race hosted by T.O.M.

Actually I kinda want to see this.

Who would be in it though? Jack is obvious. Usagi maybe? The Straw Hat pirates? Goku?

I could see someone from Naruto being our version of Sandman/Soundman.
>>
>>83992863
This would be a perfect alternative for Cliff and Jane.
>>
>>83992863
No, we can't use any /a/ characters. /co/ characters only, it's a line we cannot cross under any circumstances.

We can only have that mentioned when President Nobody is talking about races happening in other AUs.

>>83992823
As I recall, both of those were heavily disliked and pretty much dropped.

But anyway, back to part 5 and the issue at hand.

I think Varrick should invent a thing that chemically compresses things down to something easily moveable. He activates it, the UR take cover, but all it does is turn something like a refrigerator into a small marble.
>>
>>83992957
Yeah, I fucking hate both of those things.
>>
>>83992957
>The machine activates and shrinks the fridge
>"YES! It did the thing!"
>>
>>83992665
>we can't have /a/

Other than this being based on JoJo, you guys know that Knuckles is /v/ in origin, right?
>>
>>83993168
And we also have Bane from the Nolan films and Felicity from Arrow is supposed to be a member of Ethan's cult too.
>>
>>83992665
You realize there actually is a Speed Racer cartoon, don't you?

>>83993247
So he can be in?

I actually think he'd be great as the main protagonist of that part. He's perfect since he's already and experienced racer. And we're supposed to scrap Cliff anyway. He could also be our Gyro equivalent too.

Either way, I think he should definitely be a main character. It's too perfect an opportunity to pass up.

>>83993360
I could see that happening actually. It could definitely work.

Would Racer X be like our Diego?
>>
>>83993360
While there is a Speed Racer cartoon, the Speed in that is actually the son of the legendary racer. He is an actual competent racer, though. I suggest looking a bit into it and seeing what could be done with the character.

>>83993443
Now come on, we can't lift that much. Besides, Dee Dee was supposed to fill that with her Racer D persona in the race anyway.
>>
>>83993025
>Rolf finally closes the gap and slaps him
>Rolf: "Are you weak in the upper story? The stench of immortal doom still thickens the air, yes? Yet you insist on trying Rolf's patience with you lavish monkey business."
>Varrick: "I have no idea what you're trying to say, but keep talking, your words are gold!"
>Rolf puts his face in his hands, "May your nose fester with the rage of olives..."
>"I never thought about putting olives in my nose, that could be good for sinuses. I'd better get on that."

I don't know if Taffy or Cartman should be the one to snap at him about all the demon shit.
>>
>>83993168
The Knuckles we used is either the one from the archie comics or one of the cartoons.

>>83993223
The Bane in the tower is /co/ Bane and the one that was mentioned in part 2 was just a reference, he didn't appear. No idea about Felicity being in part 8 though, that's new
>>
>>83994670
Really, I have no idea what to do with Varrick here, so this is the best I have as I have not been able to think up anything more.

He should go on to become quite wealthy though through legitimate means with his inventions popping up at least once if not a semi-important thing in part 7.
>>
>>83993360
I liked it better when he was a gag character, unconcerned by anything but racing. I also liked the idea of Wander being the Pocoloco who wins the race.
>>
Slightly off topic, but do we have definitive main antagonists for Part 8 yet, or are we still throwing around ideas?
>>
>>83997354
Sorta. We have Ethan's cult of gaming and the Scope Men, though we lack members for both of them.

What were you suggesting?
>>
>>83997354
In the Church inner circle we have: Ethan, Ronnie, Gabe and/or Tycho, Kim Ross, That chick from CAD, and I forgot the rest.
I don't know if we settled on the Scope men members, besides Fred Flintstone.
And then there's Chris-chan being Chris-chan
>>
>>83997354
yes we do.
>>
>>83997424

Well, I mean we still have that sentient stand, Adagio for Strings set to appear in Part 8.

Why not make him an antagonist?
>>
>>83997645
What?

I've never heard of him. Who is he?

A sentient stand that was accepted for Part 8.

If it touches you with its hand, it causes you to essentially be forgotten by everyone. You can't interact with others either. You're basically like a ghost.

The only way to reverse it is to touch Adagio back.

>>83999519
The AT general there is also a JoJo general.

They disliked the Claire Stand suggestion from QC, although Im not sure if we're even going to use it at all.

>>
>>83999782
That'd be a fantastic waste of time that we could otherwise be using to further our project here.

Part 5 is getting close to being "done". All that's left is for >>83977520 to finish the Neron fight, then we move on to Patrick, then after that we'll be in the demons arc.

There's still quite a good chunk of work to do, but we're near now.

On the subject of Patrick

>The UR open the door to Patrick's office
>Patrick is sitting at his desk playing with a toy, like a ball and string, laughing like an idiot
>The UR are confused, Dexter even asks "Dees is the man running the WB? He looks like a bah-foon."
>Squidward steps forward, Patrick sees Squidward and puts down his toy "Hi Squidward!" in his cheerful idiot voice
>"Hi, Patrick. I think we need to talk."
>"Is this about jellyfishing? Are you finally finished with those errands?" Patrick is already holding his net
>"No! I will never be finished with those- I mean... yes, no? Look Patrick, I'm not doing this anymore, this needs to stop."
>"Stop? Hmmmm... What were we talking about again?"
>Cartman: "How much of a fucking retard is this guy?"
>Patrick: "Its varies."
>Squidward: "Just let me try, I might still be able to reason with him."
>Patrick has picked up an orb from his shelf, he's begun to glow with stand power
>He sits back down in his chair, watching the UR intently who have assumed battle stances
>Patrick: "Next you'll be asking 'What does [Dazed and Confused] do?' That's the name of my stand by the way."
>Most of the UR in unison with some variation on the question "What does [Dazed and Confu-"
>DON or whatever the sound effect is where you slam your hands on the left side of a piano
>All of them have shocked faces except Squidward, who did not ask that question

How should it go from here? They start fighting over what it must do, of course, but what theories do they come up with?
>>
>>84000575
Besides the ability to start a discussion, [Dazed and Confused] also has this:
>The more one wonders how the Stand functions, the more they are unable to comprehend the world around them
I got the idea that things begin to look like an scene from Fear and Loathing after a while, and whoever attacks Patrick must endure having his perception of reality distorted
>>
>>84001400
Patrick's office could also be rigged to change the lay out of the room to enhance the effect.

>Squidward challenges Neron to dance once more. Neron refuses, but this activates [Don't Like Goodbyes] and forces him into a dance off. Now Squidward is dance battling Neron while the others contend with his Stand.
>Dexter can't use his Stand because it's augmenting [TWO TO TANGO], so he's building devices out of gift shop junk instead. He's trying to use them to attack Neron, but [GENETIC REPO MAN] keeps switching them with random junk. Likewise, Taffy is creating cheese to hold Neron down with, but it keeps getting replaced with non-cheese that he can't manipulate.
>Rolf tries to create a door under Neron for him to fall down, but Neron, being a powerful demon, just levitates and keeps fighting against Squidward. Squidward's the better dancer, but Neron is attacking as he does, which throws Squidward off-balance.
>[GENETIC REPO MAN] lashes onto Rolf's staff and Taffy's hat with its chains, and switches them. Rolf and Taffy now possess each others' Stands, but quickly find they can't use them properly due to their differing mindsets: without Rolf's weird spiritualism, Taffy's doors are more like wobbly cracks; and Rolf's cheese is patchy and half-formed, and reluctant to move for him.
>[GRM] then attempts to switch [WORLD ON FIRE], now on Rolf, with Cartman's [AMERIKA], only for nothing to happen, giving [AMERIKA] the chance to kick it in the dick. Cartman claims that his Super Awesome Stand is worth way more than some lame cheese making hat.
>>
>>84005502
>While Cartman's Stand grapples with [GRM], Rolf gives Taffy a speech about how to use the many doors of life, you must first open the doors of your heart like the squirrel opens the nut. Taffy, after this speech and a couple of attempts, manages to open a door in the shelves behind Squidward; he backs into them, pushed back by Neron, and uses the power of [REVOLVING DOORS] to duplicate his Stand's limbs, allowing it to trip Neron and let Squidward win the dance off. Neron falls to his knees, becoming one of Squidward's [partners], and Rolf and Taffy's Stands revert to them.
>Squidward poses in triumph. Neron asks him if he really thinks he's won, and that by taking the fight to the CEO, he's dooming the country to devastation. Squidward, obviously, assumes he's lying.
>Rolf creates a door to the outside of the building, and Squidward has Neron throw himself out of it. Neron plummets to his death, screaming in anger.

How would that happen though?

Good job.

In the UR's confusion, Patrick pulls a lever and various Fry Cook Games things rise up from the floor or drop from the ceiling.
>>
>>84001400
How does Rolf beat him again? Has that been written?
>>
>>84007692
They grapple and Rolf bites a Jawbreaker, consuming its raw core and remastering his Stand in the process, then he gives Patrick a Three Shoe Beating
>>
>>84007692
Evolves his Stand into Secret Doors and punches respect for the Old Country into him with a three shoe beating.
>>

>>84007754
It's the stuff that happens between Patrick activating [Dazed and Confused] and Rolf grappling with him that we still need to figure out.
>>
>>84000575
So what does each member of the UR think [Dazed and Confused] does?
>>
>>84007984
Squidward is unaffected by Patrick's Stand, right? Maybe they have a brief duel to show [Dazed and Confused] ability to warp their senses, and Squidward manages to figure out what [Dazed and Confused] does and tells this to Rolf, snapping him out of the trance. The problem is figure out why Rolf is the only one grappling with Patrick.
>>
>>84009359
It's not that Squidward is unaffected, he's just had to live with this level of stupidity for so long that he's able to navigate the maze in his brain.

I think Squidward will be the one to break up the others fighting each other, Rolf is the only one grappling with Patrick because Squidward was able to redirect Rolf in Patrick's direction.

Through the course of the fight, Rolf is still confused, and very angry, the rest of the UR are being kept busy by Squidward so they don't kill each other.

Sorta unrelated, but should the Telephone Avatar manifest in the cursed phone from EENE and take a form based on it?

It'd be the same as usual, just gold and purple, with some sorta fuzzy I guess.
>>
>>84010356
I think that is supposed to be the phone in Patrick's office. It survives the toppling of the tower and explodes after the TA is taken down
>>
>>84010623
I think TA eats that phone or something.

I really don't know enough about Telephone Avatar.
>>
>>84010623
Can I suggest an alternative maybe?

TA isn't killed, but he is severely wounded and his power is crippled. The UR don't know this, but find the phone and to be on the safe side they decide to bury it.

Ethan digs it up in part 8, though it's not really as powerful anymore. It probably only acts as an advisor of sorts, given the similar natures of their stands. Ethan may also be using him to power up Lose Yourself somehow.

Or he could reappear for a possible DHMIS reference.

There was a recent Doom Patrol storytime. I'm still reading through it, but hopefully should be able to offer pointers.
>>84011139
Maybe. I think Rolf's meant to drag it down to hell after destabilising it, though.
We've already got 4 Doom Patrol characters in fairly major roles - main MacGuffin of part 4, major villain of part 5, protagonist AND antagonist of part 7. Do we really need to bring it back for part 8?
>>
>>84011261
My original idea was that, being unable to fully dematerialize while being dragged through the hellpit, he finds a way to let himself being eaten by the Hey Kids! monster, making it evolve in whatever form he takes in part 8
>>
>>84011261
Yeah, Rolf is somehow supposed to Gandalf it.

I'm still unsure about who the main character of part 7 i supposed to be.

>>84011724
With its physical form destroyed it loses the battle, but its information form remains and slowly makes its way to the monster in the buried Looniversity?

No.
>>
>>84012206
I think we're cutting Robotman and keeping Crazy Jane, since there's been a lot of good suggestions for her.
We need a replacement for Cliff as our Gyro. Someone from a non-cape comic, ideally.
>>
>>84012483
Last time i checked, Mojo jojo was our Gyro. Cliff was the protagonist (that we are changing).

>Cartman is the first to come up with an answer "Come on you guys, there's no way it doesn't turn people in the bowling pins!"
>Taffy: "Oh come on, there's no way it'd do something that stupid, it probably acts like a ball and chain to slow us down."
>Dexter: "It looks like an infinite energy generator to me."
>Rolf: "Are you so simple? Clearly it is mean for removing nasal warts."
>Squidward turns to Patrick "Patrick, please, you don't need to do this!"
>Patrick: "Squidward, I've told you before, if you want something you need to firmly grasp it." While putting an arm coated in butter into his mouth "And I want this country, Squidward, it's right there for the taking."
>By now all the other Rangers are facing each other down, we switch to everyone's point of view
>Cartman sees them all as happy merchants
>Taffy sees them all as evil cats
>Dexter sees them as idiot robots from the later reboot seasons of his show
>Rolf sees them as mutants stomping on fish balls
>They begin fighting each other, Squidward tries to stop them, but he's taking a lot of hits in the process
>He starts slapping Rolf, being slapped by a squid seems to be having an effect on bringing Rolf around
>Squidward then points Rolf at Patrick's desk and lets go, sending him head first into the desk
>Rolf rises like a big hairy bug screaming "Ha-hiii-ha-haaa!" before smashing the rest of Patrick's desk
>Patrick gets out of his chair, Rolf sees him in a weird oil painting kind of way, like a giant sea cucumber blinking at him
>"Scourge from the deep! The time for your reckoning is here! Do not mock Rolf!"

Not sure if this is where we get into the grappling, or if Rolf should do a 360 and jump backwards into the others again.
>>
>>84013483
Have Patrick manage to misdirect Rolf back into the melee, maybe?
Fantastic work, though.
>>84012880
I heard that, but it doesn't really jibe with the description in the doc, which had Cliff and Jane sharing the same car as the main protags and Mojo as a separate ally.
I want the final fight to be Jane, empowered by the Corpse, with the Stands [DRIVER 8] and [SUNSHINE SUPERMAN] vs Wizard Daffy, empowered by the Mask, with the Stands [THE WIZARD] and [CUBAN PETE]. Particularly since the latter would be a good counterpart to Parallel Diego - an alternate version of Part 3's villain with the power of Part 1's, rather than an alternate version of Part 1's with the power of Part 3's.

Fuck, this is some great dialogue. Pitch perfect.
>>
>>84013750
>>84013966
Problem is, I don't know how to bring Rolf around enough to get him to recognize Patrick as being pink.

>Rolf leaps in the air and spins around before falling backwards onto Squidward
>Rolf has summoned his stand now and is making doors appear everywhere, one of them reveals a safe in the wall that also gets door'd into, spilling jawbreakers onto the floor that the UR slip on and fall to the ground
>Rolf hits his head again, he no longer remembers the question that started this and is able to see Patrick clearly

Maybe this is when they rip off their shirts and begin to grapple?

Well I finished reading the issue where the TA appears (no.44) and here's some stuff:

- he's taller than Flex Mentallo or Cliff
- He speaks through phone calls mixed at random, except, perhaps, in one page (can't tell)
- He can shoot energy blasts from his chest

I think we're already past bump limit.

I can agree with this too.

We also wanted to have Lucky Luke as an ally. But not sure what capacity he fills in the team
