Flash doesn't go faster than light at all fucking times, only during Crises, just like Superman doesn't go around tearing open spacetime every time someone robs a bank.

Like 99% of the time Flash goes hypersonic at best, and when he needs to go FAST he goes maybe re-entry speed at the very fastest.

Because you can't just draw infinitely from the Speedforce without repercussions. Not only does it take a lot out of you, even just to go hypersonic, but the Speedforce doesn't like when people break the rules of physics too much and takes exponentially more out of you each time you start to go crazy fast.

As a comparison, the fastest human on Earth in reality can run a top speed of 28 mph, but he can't maintain that speed indefinitely, and he can't go that speed on command. He's basically only going to go that fast at the Olympics for less than a minute and then be extremely tired for a week. But he could still outrun most people even just jogging.

The Speedforce is supposed to simply be an explanation of WHY Flash can break the laws of physics sometimes, it's not a magic bullet he can pull out whenever he wants. It's basically the same as the explanation Byrne once gave for Superman's strength being a form of tactile telekinesis.
