Start with X-O Manowar, Divinity or The Valiant. There is a pretty great reading order on Reddit, but you can start reading at almost every #1, they all collide soon or later.

Not true. Moore's Wildcats run, Casey's Wildcats run, Ellis' Stormwatch and authority and Brubaker's Sleeper are all excellent. There's assorted other good stuff like Dixons team 7, ennis' Kev and simone's stuff. Valiant is great but I still haven't read a valiant book as good as the best wildstorm runs.
