Reminder that Hussie used to make witty posts in the forums all the time and banter with his readers, often to hilarious results. His writing style was like the characters in his comic, full of energy and pep.

Pretty sure he's just been really depressed ever since the mishaps with the Kickstarter happened, and since Hussie IS Homestuck, he dragged the comic and the fans down with him.

I'd have really liked it if his arc had ended with the realisation that not all people really function at their peak around others. It's easy to highlight the positive aspects of teamwork, love and friendship, yet some people really do work better on their own, certainly at that age where many relationships are rather superficial. Had he cottoned on to this during the tea party he could have been one of the few characters with somewhat of a conclusive arc, the epilogue helping to flesh it out.
