I can't say I know what Bowman wants, but is it really a problem if he's not Toby? He doesn't have the spike of commercial success that Undertale has, but he's still making music and doing what he wants. >The whole point is Vriska while some of characters are portrayed in an hyperbolic manner based on their appearances in late Homestuck, namely Roxy telling people they're pretty, Dave and his newly acquired social justice rants, Jake-Dirk playing sports in the ending +Jade and Jane being unimportant, Terezi being Vriska's pet, etc.

Like, his one "social justice rant" was focused around the toxic masculinity issues that were fundamental to his character, and a completely reasonable thing to talk about in context. Making fun of that just makes you seem like a dick who writes off anything that sounds vaguely feminist as "dumb SJW nonsense" and resents it being brought up in Homestuck, despite it being perfectly relevant and valuable to a lot of people. Like, seriously, I think the rest of the comic is comedy gold, but the "lol Dave is a feminist, lol rape culture, isn't this hilarious guys" part actually made me feel physically sick. It's well worth singling out and criticising.
