Blu-ray Wild Times content was interesting in case anybody hasn't seen it yet. Would like to see it somewhere in the sequel for a bit of fun.

Anyway, what are our resident drawfags currently working on? Some interesting stuff was being posted at the end of the last thread; hope we can continue it into this one before we descend into the usual Nick vs. Judy arguments.

>>
>>83591559
People in the animation industry tend to have a dark sense of humor, but when you work on a project for several years, something that might have seemed like a funny gag at first can sometimes start to become uncomfortable or downright depressing. In the case of the shock collars it might have been sort of a fridge horror thing, where at first it seemed funny, then they realized it could be something a lot darker and more thought provoking. Unfortunately, the end net result was that the project had gotten so dark that the studio was becoming demoralized working on it. It's one thing to do a depressing short film that will be finished in a matter of months or a year at most, but Zootopia was in development for about 5 years. That's a long time to spend in Savage City.
>>
>>83591517
Was Nick always going to be that scruffy looking originally, or was it just for a specific part of the movie?

Can you explain? Did some Pixar execs, including Lasseter, ask what the hell the shock collar thing was? I watched the Fusion documentary and got the sense the brain-trust committee did not enjoy the direction it was going, so it had multiple rewrites, but I didn't hear anything about Pixar.
>>
>>83592286
Blame DRM. Try downloading MakeMKV and ripping it directly. If it still doesn't work, you're pretty much SOL; your BluRay reader probably shat itself because of some complete BS reason related to AACS.

There is only one cure: we must have A TV SERIES

Been said a million times already but it's true. Episodic police procedural with some slice of life elements mixed in. Can be 2D to make it more cost effective.

Well, if you set -o4 in the optipng line to -o2 or -o1 it'll run a ton faster; -o4 is to squeeze out every possible percent of compression, all the way up to -o9. If you turn it down to -o2 all the pngs will compress twice as fast, give or take.

Was the 8 seconds on your laptop? If so, that's fucking weird. My CPU should be beating yours:

mine: http://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?cpu=Intel+Core+i7-3840QM+%40+2.80GHz&id=900
yours: http://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?cpu=Intel+Core+i7-4720HQ+%40+2.60GHz
your desktop: http://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?cpu=Intel+Core+i7-3770+%40+3.40GHz&id=896

Even your desktop shouldn't be THAT much faster than my CPU. That's weird as hell. But yeah, a Xeon would be a good purchase if you have like $4k to drop on the CPU and motherboard alone.

I probably got the timings wrong, but it still took a while and my CPU usage was never 100% on any of the threads.

Looking at prices, it should cost me about £2000 for the CPU, mobo and RAM, which isn't too bad. Bit nervous about whether 3D XPoint will work on current motherboards though, since I definitely want some of that when it releases.

I phrased it wrong - I know perfectly well that there are more, but what I meant to ask is, is there anywhere I can download them?

I can't find any info about the special content that comes with the UK DVDs and Blu-Rays, or if they even have any at all - I won't mind too much if I know I can find the content online, I just don't want to miss out.

Seriously though, I don't get why there's so much publicity and exclusive versions and everything in the US and naff all in the UK. Maybe there will be closer to the release date.

Paper vouchers with codes. Both versions come with voucher codes for digital HD in streaming or iTunes or whatever, the Target one comes with a code for a couple of bonus clips, the non-Target one has some paper for some Disney Movie Club thing, and different slipcovers. The non-Target 3D version comes with a lenticular 3D cover, too.

I didn't, I consider this punchment to WDAS team, for wasting years of work on a dark, unfunny, dull, illogical movie no family would ever want to see, if even Rich Moore couldn't help it that means they fucked up beyond reparation.
Asking Pixar for help was their only good move, serves them right for fucking around and throwing random ideas to the board hoping it will stick to it.

This movie turned out great but it has more skeletons in its closet than motherfucking Chinese morgue.

Pixar "magic" saved it somehow, not Disney's.
>>
>>83595137
You don't give the team enough credit. Pixar just made some suggestions on how to fix the movie, and it was up to the team to figure out how they could apply them to the movie. It's not like Pixar's people took over or anything like that.

I'm pretty sure Ginnifer Goodwin would come back to voice Judy, and although it's hard to say, they might even get Jason Bateman back because voicework is an easy paycheck. He's a well known actor but it's not like doing a voice for a TV show is beneath him. There are other actors in the movie who do lots of TV voice work already anyway.

And it doesn't need the movie's budget if it's done in 2D. The character designs are just as appealing in 2D as they are in 3D, and they wouldn't require much reworking since aside from the materials, they are fairly simple and not too busy.

but unless you're okay with some flash-tweened teen titans go looking BS, cheap 3d is even cheaper than 2d, and I'd be pissed if its not cell animated

but yeah, it doesn't need the movies budget (which was probably a fucking shit load considering it took how many years? 4?) just enough to get
-good animation
-at least nick and judy's voices
-at least byron but if we have some walkin around cash than bring in moore too.
the most essential thing, that TV series adaptations ALWAYS fuck up is preserving the vibe that the movie had. The world has to be immersive and the characters have to be charming. it can't shill out for cheap laughs with weak stories. if it stays in it's element, it will get amazing ratings and be a good show

A Fox. The word comes with a lot of connotations. Sly. Sexy. Sleek. Sneaky. Stealthy. Fluffy.

This fox is all of those, and more. With a charming smile and russet red fur mixed with pale tan rather then the customary snowy white, he stands perhaps four feet tall, and a charming member of his species. Nick Wilde, former con-artist, now police officer. A smug, contented attitude hangs around him, a fox who clearly is at home in the world and deeply content at his place in it. His eyes are a deep green, shining like emeralds, and its true he is mostly anthropomorphic in that he is able to walk upright and move with obvious differences from basic animal anatomy. His features are, simply put, quite handsome for a fox. His muzzle tapers out narrowly to a prominent dark fleshed nose, while his ears stand tall and tipped in dark fur on the points with more pale tan on the interior. Eyebrows of dark fur crest over his often relaxedly half-lidded eyes, though the left is often raised in a teasing arch. The utter smugness of his smile is charming, if a little assuming. The kind of fox who smiles through the world like he has is always laughing inside at own little joke.

His body is lean and lithe, yet tightly muscled under all that fur. With strong front legs and built clearly to run. His front paws are darker furred, with four fingers with dark pads on the tips and on the upper part of his palms. His bottle-brush tail is long and bushy, yet with a dark tip at the end rather then the usual white tip. His feet are long end end in three toes tipped with obviously pedicured claw-tips. He is a definition of handsomely and athletically built... for a fox. Certainly his look is not entirely humanoid in nature, but enough to make him less fully vulpine. His legs are short, but strong, clearly muscled in the thigh for running and able to drop down even to four paws effortlessly if he should ever feel the need to pretend to be feral again.

As to clothes, he prefers comfort with a dash of stylishness. Off-duty he wears a fern-green shirt with patterns of the plant and jungle across it in lighter and darker tones, with a pocket on the left breast and a row of buttons down the front. These are often hidden by a variety of ties, though his usual is a dark navy striped with red and blue diagonally slanted down to the right, wrapping around the tie in a color band all the way down. He wears grey slacks, which often hang low on what pass for rather pleasant hips, and his shirt goes often untucked into them, revealing fur when he raises his arms and shifts and moves through the gaps in a faintly tantalizing way.

On duty, there are other clothes entirely he wears that defy the laid back air, though he keeps one addition in the form of stylish sunglasses tucked into his shirt pocket that slip over his eyes and reflect the world when its rather bright out or when he just wants to look even sexier.

He is Nick Wilde. Zootopia's newest and first Vulpine Police Officer...

...and he is one Sly Fox.

kek, victimising tumblrite detected.

>Imagine you're a chief of police and your district deals with cases requiring big strong animals to handle dangerous situation
>Mayor emails you and says you're going to accept a frail bunny because of diversity quotas despite a number of districts having much better suited environment for smaller mammals and where her natural abilities can be utilised in full
>Explain to mayor you've got a job to do and shit isn't going to fly because the bunny is going to end up injured or dead in the line of duty
>Get overruled because the token bunny needs to be put on a spotlight and your district is a prestigious one

This kind of patronising and forced quotes invalidated Hopps' hard-earned achievements in the academy, which is why Bogo says he doesn't care she was top of her class. What assurance there was her grades weren't inflated to fill the diversity quotas? protip: none

Odds are, most if not all new officers in Bogo's district are top of their classes, which is why he never introduces the new recruits. This is to keep them down so they don't think they're the hottest shit around because of their grades and focus on doing their actual jobs to prove themselves. If you think if marked indifference was just for Bogo's entertainment, you've never managed people. Not saying it's 100% correct, but you need to understand why he acted like he did, which you clearly cannot because

>abloo abloo oppression privilege

Bogo is also right about Hopps having inflated opinion about herself, you need to empathise with the Chief to understand his motivations
>Doing XX years in the district
>Most work tasks are "heavy duty lifting" for big animals
>Get assigned a bunny
>I don't have any kind of work for that kind of mammal
>and if she gets hurt, Mayor is going to devour me
>post here somewhere safe to keep everyone (sans Hopps) relatively happy
>success

Hopps' attitude was extremely self-entitled.

>your district deals with cases requiring big strong animals
It wasn't really that, however. The movie made it clear that the police department in question covered the whole city. There are plenty of spots where a smaller, more mobile officer would have an advantage.

Honestly, its more likely that Bogo just didn't want to add a smaller, weaker bunny on general principle.
>>
>>83597374

Bunnies and their vaginas create problems at the workplace. He didn't want everyone staring at her ass...

She was already flaunting it.
>>
>>83597329
On top of that, the missing mammals case Bogo has as a top priority is getting undermined by the shenanigans of the Mayor and his assistant so his department is already under a lot of pressure only to now have what he viewed as a charity case on his hands to deal with.

All that given though we see Bogo give Judy the credit she deserves when she cracks the case.

I had an idea for a funny little bit if there was a tv series for this regarding a possible running plot.

>for the last couple of episodes, Nick has been looking more and more shabby.
>Judy comes into the station in the morning and notices Nick's missing
>Asks about him
>Bogo says he took a few days holiday to work on something.
>Judy does a day with McHorn, size and temperament related hijinks ensue
>At the end of the day Judy goes to Nick's apartment and knocks
>Nick answers and lets her in.
>the entire place is just one big room below street level. there are pizza boxes everywhere. the whole place smells of fast food and coffee.
>Judy is clearly shocked and looks at Nick properly
>THREE DAYS. NO SLEEP. JUST GALLONS OF ENERGY DRINK.
>Judy is clearly taken aback and asks about it.
>Nick points her to an entire wall of assorted clues and doodads
>"I don't know about you, Carrots, but a whole lot of probably nothings are starting to look like one real big ugly something."
>he collapses and falls asleep instantly.

probably pretty faggy, sorry, but that's my little idea if there's a series.

Sure I appreciate what they did, but they had to tell Michael to water down the OST because he couldn't make new one in such short time, and Judy wouldn't sound like a 30 something year old woman

You can even pinpoint exact moment when they decided to fuck it and rush the ending, all because no one dared to stood up to a man who wanted to make a movie with the most miserable and unlikeable Disney protagonist ever.

"Homesick Hopps", is that the one where after a hard day, she drives back to the office, the subway ride to her apt, accidentally calls her Mom and gets the reassuring she needed, and it ends with her lying on her bed at night in quiet contemplation? The way I see it Pixar, like Disney, has an annoying aversion to anything dark or depressing.

In this case they might have had a point, but a dar Zootopia could have still worked imho.

Byron and Rich had to make a ton of last minute changes and still turned out Disney's best film in over a decade, so I'd say they deserve some more credit than the executives who elsewhere are hurting their products by forcing filmmakers to insert levity (see Rogue One).

So lads regarding Oscars.

Finding Dory comes out in nine days, and there are no reviews posted yet.

I mean, the Inside Out critical circle jerk started at least two weeks before its release.

Could we have another Cars 2/Good Dinosaur stinker on our hands here?

Can Zootopia possibly ride its wave and overcome its two Disney competitors to win the Oscar?
>>
>>83598980
It's a long shot senpai. Finding Dory needs to flop. Moana needs to flop. I can easily Zoot as getting a nomination, but beyond that is still looking too slim for the time being.
>>
I wanna hold hands and hug and kiss gazelle!
>>
>>83599055
I'm thinking Moana might be its main competition.

Like I said, no reviews this late for a Pixar film isn't necessarily a great sign for its quality.

The only issue is Moana comes out right during the peak of Oscar season and voters will blindly vote for the most recent Disney-produced film their kids dragged them to.

It could be entirely mediocre, but as long as it has one song that has good replay value it's gonna make bank and probably win -- which is a shame.

That said, maybe if we keep Zootopia on the public conscious until next year maybe it can pull off the shocker. Also I find it amazing that we only have promotional images for Moana so far. Yes-- I know the teaser will likely play before Dory, but even so it seems much later that they're pushing it out there.

It's not that Pixar is purposely avoiding touching darker and depressing subjects, but for them there has to be a point to all these darkness.
They value storytelling and its flow above all else, but the original Zootopia is just so broken it's beyond repair.
There is barely any hope in changing the system. There is no subtle, realistic or believable way to provide a solution without inviting cynicism and skepticism, especially when you have a protagonist that's all about ridiculing the status. It's going nowhere and the audience would probably prefer to have Nick escaped the dreadful city and never come back.
In another word the original concept is dealing with political issues even our modern society can't handle. If Pixar or Disney writers can pull it off, they shouldn't be animating, they should go and change the real world.

Byron, on a sequel/spinoff
>There are so many ways you could go. It’s interesting to see, especially with Disney, once you finish one of these films, if it does land in a big way, it becomes so much bigger than us. It takes on a life of its own. A nice thing about being at Disney is that these movies can develop into a presence in theme parks and become something real, or maybe get a sequel, or tell other stories. The film is only 90 minutes long, and we only could fit so much in the film. There were so many environments we talked about, and animals we talked about. The fact that there are no reptiles or birds in the film was something we talked about.

>... I’m particularly fond of Clawhauser. He’s funny. Nate Torrence, the guy who performs him, has such a richness. We have so many hours of him being hilarious and fun. If it was affordable to do a TV show that was the same quality as the movie, I would watch The Clawhauser Show, every week. I’d want to see what that dude got into. I could imagine that. I wish the technology was there. We would totally do that.
>>
>>83599141
Moana will probably be the main competition, yes. Hard to tell how Finding Dory will do, but it's a sequel and not an original work; Unless it brings something very fresh to the table, I'd expect most folks will see it as just more of Finding Nemo...Not a bad thing, but not exactly Oscar worthy.

Remind me again, what is the voter base for the Academy awards? It's not the public as far as I know, but people within the film industry. Producers, directors, executives and so and so forth. Right?

they did so much research, created a place with various undersections which aren't exploted yet,

and now they're going to leavel?

It's like flushing work down the toilet, which almost happened because no one from the team dared to say "No! this is wrong" during the production.

The whole message of the original Zootopia was to demonstrate blatant stereotypes, institutional discrimination and how irrational they are. Its purpose is to provoke a sympathetic response from the viewers.
While they are indeed real and scary, they are mere observations, a journey if you will, with nothing the viewers can really chew on.
What message would people perceive if the protagonist just say fuck it? "I'm going to leave all my friends back there. There's nothing I can do to save them or all the other people that I know are suffering. So fuck it, I might as well kill myself right here right now."
Now, nothingness and powerlessness can arguably be a conclusion or a message, however they may not be concrete enough for a hour and a half screen time. Another thing is we as adults pretty much know these feelings by heart. We know deep well there are certain struggles that will never have a happy ending, and to have a film simply regurgitate what we experienced in everyday life is eh...kind of pointless?

It's a fun exercise in raging against the world.

Furthermore by showing that both sides are complete assholes you can pull the rug out [to a very limited degree] from under the real world groups with similar dynamics and say "no, both of you are fucking assholes, stop trying to pretend you're right."

Now, you're not going to kickstart a revolution, but that's a point you could make while still being cynical, depressing and realistic. Show both sides have legitimate grievances, then tear into them like you're angry predator scum going after the poor innocent prey.

Right. Actors, directors, sound people, etc. basically people involved in filmmaking at some level.

Unfortunately most voters don't know shit about animation and just vote for either the nominated Disney film (there are three this year so Zootopia has a bit more competition) or whatever their kids liked the most.

There is no rage if your story ends with inaction. You'll just be lost after realizing that 1hr40min of adventure and self-discovery are all for nothing. The original Zootopia had room to try, but the old one...well, let's just say it's depressing even in real life, and I don't blame people for giving up.
My frustration with the original concept is that if the protagonists want to take action, a violent outcome, where preds are pushed to the limit and have to challenge the system with dramatic means, seems inevitable. It's the only realistic course of action because it already happened in the real world.
Or you know, we can maybe have the preds protest peacefully for decades, with Judy Hopps act as ambassador and Nick as the leader of the movement. But it's beginning to sound like a documentary of our own history.

It's what happens when you have a big name; you get surrounded by yes men. It's why executive producers exist. They're from the outside, the money side, the "hey we have a reputation to protect" side that stands to put your wild dreams into a marketable box.
The team saw making protozootopia work as a challenge and it became their goal. They loved it and they knew they could make it work. I think they could make it work, but would it work well enough to be 98% fresh and make 1b? Probably not.
>>
>>83600754
So they are all in the link?

>>
>>83600562
The thing is that it wasn't doomed, change can come about in small ways and in big ways. The moral of the story would be that it doesn't happen alone and we're all responsible for it. It'd be like the movie we got, but with the emphasis on Judy overcoming her prejudice to give Nick the chance he needs to be a hero.
>>
>>83600826
Executives also exist to kill an artists vision - especially Disney execs.

On one hand yes, maybe the version of Zootopia we got was better but on the other we see an absolute aversion to dark films.

I mean, they're reshooting 50% of Rogue One to make it lighter and less dark for fucks sake.
>>
>>83600878
"Ultimate" comes in both Target and non-Target versions. If you don't need the exclusive clips, I'd go for the non-Target one because it has a more 3D-looking slipcover.
>>
>>83600905
>I mean, they're reshooting 50% of Rogue One to make it lighter and less dark for fucks sake.

If they can turn it into an Aaron Allston style story I'm totally fine with that.
>>
>>83600826
>>83600905
Art is a wild thing in nature anon, you can't always tame it. The team tried so hard they were tearing themselves apart with different opinons and had to look for outside opinions like Pixar. And Pixar delivered the hard, cold truth, "[They] hated it".
If the execs really want to fuck with the team, they would not get so many chance to talk about this unrealized baby of theirs.

>change can come about in small ways and in big ways
Or it can not come. The political reality of driving through change, especially in a modern society where politicians have gladly surrendered their powers to the god of market stability and know they're protected by safe seats and other quirks of the election system is far more difficult than bares thinking about.

Now, for the predator-prey thing, it's not quite that bad. Not relative to what I hinted at anyway. Because it's a primarily social issue working on an individual/grassroots level is likely to be remotely effective. You could probably make a vaguely hopeful movie out of that, though it would come out as "You're kind of overdoing it on the racism angle" compared to what we got.

In the spoiler, I decided to take the other route and say Zoodystopia would realistically be even worse and quite possibly underscore that while each individual has the potential within them to be good, as a collective society it's structured in such a way that the only thing that could possibly save them was a global disaster, and even then it would be a very charitable definition of "save". Now that's what I call doomed. And realism. Hand in hand, Paw in Paw, sailing down Styx.

You're ignoring the change that happens year to year. I mean really the whole slavery, to being allowed to vote, thing shows plenty of change in real world politics that can transition to making shock collars illegal. It's fun to be overly cynical with things like this, but what's funny is that the Zootopia we got has more real world application than its darker prototype; it did a better job at highlighting the prejudices carried by everyone, not just the people we find blatantly antagonistic and in a setting that's more like our world in that minorities aren't shocked for being too happy.

Bad wolf was just a codeword that was sprinkled into different episodes. Proper clues would be, I don't know, a random newspaper article that has a little mention of the number of home burglaries rising. Then next episode a side character mentions offhand that there's a lot of new faces in the underworld these days. Then so on, until suddenly the big museum heist is pulled off by the new group of professional thieves-for-hire, and the pieces all make sense.
This is just a simple example, but you get what I mean.

While the racial issues are ultimately changeable - both in real life and Zootopia - there will always remain other issues which affect all people and for which the political will to change them has evaporated.

Which is why I generally say that "realistically" the racial issues would end up falling to the wayside as you went into depression porn on the rest of societies ills.

Ultimately, I'm not a huge fan of the message "You can change the racism if you work hard and work together!" because it carries vague connotations that everything's fine, roughly fair, the good guys will win in the end and average citizens, working together, can [Or even WILL] fix a problem. While true of the problem that is the focus of the story, For so many of our other problems, it isn't the case. Which is why I'm drawn to messages of hopelessness.

Soon all we will get it seems like are silly comedies with formulaic stories. Not every film has to be happy or even have an optimistic ending, but it seems like that's how most people think all films have to be.

Do you like Gazelle? Her early work was a little too pred-prey for my tastes, but when Zootopia came out in '16, I think she really came into her own, commercially and artistically. The whole album has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost. She's been compared to Crickets, but I think Gazelle has a far more bitter, cynical sense of humor.
>Hey Nick
Yes, Judy?
>Why are there slabs of GM meat all over the place?, d-do you room with a Weasel? A little thief or something?
No, Judy.
>Is that a rain coat?
Yes it is!
In '87, Gazelle released this, her most accomplished album. I think their undisputed masterpiece is "Try Everything", a song so catchy, most people probably don't listen to the lyrics. But they should, because it's not just about the pleasures of conformity, and the importance of trends, it's also a personal statement about the band itself. Hey Judy!

it was going to be pretentious, ugly dark movie with stupid protagonist, unsatisfying ending and biggest plot hole since Hans's betrayal:

why the fuck predators let themselves to be collared? did they became cucks like fucking Swedish people? There's a reason why they're on top of food chain, despite the 1/10 pred/prey ratio.

Handwaving collars is trivial.
Why do we allow the NSA to spy on us? The PATRIOT act? Why do we allow detention without trial and gitmo? the actual answer is "because it's easy to ignore in our daily lives even if it's scary in the background, but still.

Society has inherent advantages to the individual. In the interests of mutual co-operation the predators and the prey came together centuries ago, leading to societal advancement.

At the behest of some modern [1950s-2000s] bullshit incident, the prey used their political advantage [numbers] to fuck the hell out of the predators [already a distrusted minority] legally because they were scared in the heat of the moment, possibly via a referendum or possibly just an election where the two party system offered two pro-collar candidates.

Because the decision was made democratically or ""democratically"" with the government heavily shilling a "yes" vote, the predators had severe difficulty fighting it - especially now that modern technology allowed the prey to mitigate their physical disadvantages if they attempted civil disobedience or unrest. You've got teeth, very fancy, I've got a fucking taser. Without political support and with no strong leadership [or any leadership they had arrested], possibly facing being locked out of work and going hungry the predators were eventually forced to accept the collars.

Bang, Zoodystopia.
>>
>>83602757
>did they became cucks like fucking Swedish people?

Not him, alternative hypothesis that still comes to will breaking:

Outside Zootopia for a large distance, there is nothing of value. No work, the smallest of outpost towns if you're lucky.

You want to live and work in Zootopia? You wear the collar. No collar, no access. Economic reality forces them to accept it initially, then it's drilled into them culturally as time goes on.

Not really. Not in huge wars. Look at WWII. German tiger tanks killed allied shermans at a rate of 10:1. But there was always that 11th Sherman waiting around the corner. Eventually the preds would get worn down, and if they started the war, there's no way that prey would give up first. They know it's either win or become literal livestock.

Judy was trainable to be a cop. "Dumb prey" is a stereotype.

Even if only 10% of the prey were witty, they'd equalize the preds and have a much large armed force of cannon fodder at their disposal.

Prey would also have ludicrous advantages in manufacturing which is just as important as what happens on the battlefield. Their manufacturing base is possibly up to 10* the size of the predators. That's 10* more people to make guns and bombs. You blow up a predator tank? Fuck, those are produced at a slow rate. They needed that tank. You dent the paint on a prey tank? They'll abandon it because they've got so many of the fucking things it doesn't matter to lose one and they want to look snappy when they're bathing in predator blood.

And Zoodystopia was almost certainly founded the same way Zootopia was: Via agreement of predators and prey to stop killing one another, albeit remaining racist as fuck.

>..you really think a dozen oxes could came up with an idea of creating guns?
I think that even if a predator created guns, the economic incentive to sell even just one of them to a prey species would be enormous.

And once they've got just one they can set about producing a copy, China style. Sure, it explodes if you fire it more than once - doesn't matter, we've got so many Rabbits working manufacturing that they could explode 50% of the time without letting anything escape the end of the thing and we'd still have enough firepower to mop things up.

I have some good news for you, anon.

As far as I know, Disney put exactly the same content on all their blu ray discs and don't region code them. it's why almost all the more recent disney/pixar movies all have a fuckhuge language select at the start. further to that, the UK version should have all the same extras as the US version for the same reason.

The only thing you're missing out on is the extras on the target exclusive version, which anon ripped for us and we are eternally grateful for.

Your dick should rise only for Judy. Pred domination should not be a factor.

It's an interesting concept, but the entire shock collar thing is just so depressing and ham fisted. If you removed the shock collars entirely it would've been a far more palatable movie in all regards, it'd actually be more old school in its storytelling where it'd be more adult but not overbearing.

Gideon had more character development than Nick did despite having a fraction of the screentime.
>>
>>83607206
I loved that scene but I get why they changed it. It was a bit too lighthearted, and the scene with Bogo felt more suitably heavy with high stakes. Smoothing things over with your parents isn't nearly as daunting as having your boss demand your badge (especially when he's 8 feet tall), and changing the scene out really gave Nick a chance to step up.
>>
>>83607206

As an adult. Childhood is "the formative years" and the bullying Nick went through as a boy made him into a mean and cynical man.

Gideon on the other hand went through some introspection and realized he was wrong for being a bully. His parents probably had him sit down with a therapist.
