Here's another tip: SonicScanF is another great place to read/download every Archie Sonic Comic available.
They even have the Archie Mega Man book as well.

Yeah, while it's encouraged to buy if you like, if you're looking to just give it a quick read, SonicScanf or Tails.Kicks-Ass are good places to get them online.

Alternatively you can start at the reboot of the series at issue 252 and Universe 55, which is easier to start at, but a bit lacking, since it is mostly worldbuilding and they still haven't finished their first major arc yet.
Only big tip I can give if you follow >>83591654 isto not get too attached.
