Hi anon, i just have finished the whole Flash vol. 2 it was a good ride, i like Waids Flash and Johns Rogues the most.

Mesners et up for the character is underrated, after johns it really never pickups for me, the only thing i liked at the end was the Wild West by Waid, but then Wally just opens the spot for Mr. Personality Barry Allen.

It helps that Charest took over when Robinson and later Moore took over writing duties, Lee/Choi WildCATS was an enjoyable comic but Robinson made it good and Moore made it great.

Anon thanks for the storytime!

Reading these issues made me realize why I wasn't really interested in new 52 Flash: The side cast was just nonexistent and the first attempts with Venditti were so so bad.

It really shows how important side characters are for a hero. Wally's WML gang lead by Mason and Waid's Flash family puts him light years ahead of New 52. I really hope Wally gets a solo book so we can see some of these characters again.

Actually this was my main problem with New 52. I stopped reading DC and started picking up more Marvel books like Hawkeye, Ms.Marvel etc. so I don't think character work focused books are completely gone.

I will hope the same for Rebirth because I missed these characters.
