Tumblr-progressive-culture ruining all things good. I found the whole scene to come really out of nowhere. It's like it goes between a borderline decent comic and then shifts gears mid-way through at a good-arc and either drops it or injects shit tier yuri anime-like distractions. I'm really not sure wtf the plot is atm, I guess Kit still wants Poppy to be her "ambassador" of sorts and now wants to marry her after what, two panels of talking in bed together, and touching hands "sensually" with her adopted daughter right next to her under the blanket (kinda fucked up when you think about it). At first in the story I thought she was a wonderful example of a protective mother figure, seems now doesn't even care about her daughter out of nowhere and wants to get busy with a princess, but still tries to make her priority that of raising her, while not raising her and kinda honest to god goofing off?!?! Morbi is the one being pandered to, not the other way around. With how he generally goes about things, I don't think he can give a rat's ass about how anyone things or liberal anything. Cute lesbians is the path that he truly believes in, and it seems you're still stuck in the groan zone wondering when this shonen anime of a comic is going to become something other than a media of self-indulgence. There are grievances to be had, of course. This is far from a comic so consistent and bold that someone would feel overwhelmingly obligated to donate money to. Despite that, it's absolutely not the worst of its genre, nor is Morbi, and both have plenty of room to improve and grow as time goes on. Cute lesbians are also cute.

Add to that she feels at fault for all those who died during the dragon attack (She's the one that allowed the Dragon Bell to be shut down temporarily) and you get her finally snapping and having a break down in Poppy's arms.

That's an interesting point, though at the time I thought it was just trying to imitate Poppy. I would expect dragons to have a "tree-face" unique to themselves, maybe something like the baby dragon we saw as a "default", but I wonder if the humanoid dragon was a hint at the origin of the glove controlling it...?
