Technically there is no such thing as "pulp comics". "Pulp" were magazines that contained short fictional prose stories by popular authors. These were popular in the 20s and 30s or thereabouts.

If you can define what you're looking for in comics more clearly it'll be easier to recommend stuff for you.

The Shadow, The Spirit, The Question, Heavy Metal/Epic comics, Dr. Spektor and Dr. Solar and miscellaneous Gold Key comics, Tarzan, Corto Maltese, things like that.

Look at the EC/Dark Horse series of reprints and just pick some titles - for the most part (due to the infantile nature of the medium back then) they won't be good, but they'll be classic.

Well I guess if it's not technically pulp, I mean things that fit that aesthetic/theme. I'm not entirely sure.

Thank you for the recommendations, I'll check those out. And, yeah, I'm not expecting them to be good I just what to be more familiar with that era. It should at least be informative, if not entertaining.

The Prowler
The Spider
Conan (Marvel era, especially the first decade or so, and the first volume of the Dark Horse era)

do dynamite's take on the classic heroes are good?

Masks looks interesting for me, is it good?

also, i'm interested in Phantom Stranger, Doc Savage, The Spirit, Lady Blackhawk and Dick Tracy. What comics of them can you recommend?

I liked it. First is more classical, Masks 2 has them travel through time and getting alternate looks.

I had a class in college on science fiction (don't laugh) and we read most of this book (seriously stop laughing) and while some of the stories are kinda meh there's at least a few that are worth reading (though i cant recall their titles)

There are also many more mainstream comics that have strong pulp tones. Hellboy comes to mind, aswell as some Batman stories. Hell you could even count some Wolverine stories like the Jungle Adventure by Walt Simonsen&Mignola

Thats why I said SOME. When it comes to comics, the pulps and weird fiction had a huge influence. When it comes to superheros obviously the line is blurred (example Batman).

An interesting thought would be a pulp story set in 2016. Haven´t seen that yet. Most of the time its just 1930-1950s
