The one thing that bothered me in this issue, was the climax.
It was building up very well. The recordings slowly building to what was inside Abe, while Necrofag was slowly doing a curse. I was hoping it would be a binding curse. Y'know "bind you by your true name", and the recording, and the necromancer both go "OANNES".
It could've been perfect.

You're missing out. Mignola is fantastic but there are a lot of other great artists on his books. Ben Stenbeck has a similar quality and drew a ton of stuff for him, and he specifically selected Fegredo to do the art on his Hellboy Dies trilogy. Also Guy Davis makes everything wonderfully messy.
