I'm noticing a lot of similarities between The Real Thomas operation and the Spark operation.

They both involve multiple "phases" and are said as such, without deviating away from the term.

Both involve lifting the park to take it somewhere.

The people behind both operations happen to be spying and testing the crew before doing their final rundown. This includes setting up cameras around the park, and hanging near them to see how they act and how smart they are to what's going on around them.

Benson is falling for yet another bad girl, this time one who "returns" the favor.

Both results end up trapping them and are varying degrees of deadly.

Both sides seem to have international-wise workers, Thomas' side of the operation was all Russian, The Dome Corporation / Spark has a variety, German being something I recall more closely.

Both are extremely manipulative, Spark moreso. The dome can change weather and interfere with what you see. "Parklift" involved keeping secret by "silencing potential threats" and hiding the real deal right under their noses.

so is this dome/space story going to give a story related reason to the title sequence and most of the montage backgrounds being space related? I prefer it being like a art style choice but if they do happen to do that, I guess it would change perception on any episode that features it.

I think the dome corporation people found out about all these prophecies/predictions about mordecai/rigby doing random shit like video games or monsters or random shit, and have been forcing them to occur for some bigger final prophecy tied to all of the previous ones happening

JG says it tops everything they've ever done, and the course of the series is changed after the event happens. Watch all the episodes you can of course, but the ones focused specifically on the story are The Dome Experiment Special, The Button, and everything after that one. There's also some past episodes from earlier seasons connected but it's not clear yet what all of those are.

This show has amazing continuity, when they decide to do it.

The scrapped opening of the movie puts a lot of things more clear.

Originally they did get to the meeting on time, and still got the job to repaint the steps.

Present Mr. Ross comes up in a limo and offers Mordecai a job at his company, and that it pays "at least" 10 times what he gets at the park. That clears up future Mordecai's "sold us out" even more and why he worked for Ross. He told Rigby he couldn't work for him though, which is what ended up splitting them up later on.

Wander Over Yonder gets a steady schedule for the first time in months, and it's a straight shot to it's series finale death.

Then just days later we're hit with the big deal in this show, and who knows how long it'll be waiting for it to return. We got lucky with Season 6 and Season 7 being back to back like that because of a (I call it) Rigbomb.


I'm going to go all out for my set up next Monday onwards (for the new Wander episode, and other new episodes in the future) which include getting a better fucking chair for my living room, getting all the best fucking snacks, fuck ton of dr pepper and yahoos and im not even gonna be in the talkback threads for either show until it's done airing.
