They could give us "variations", like the ones in Mortal Kombat X. Each character has 3 combat variations that change their special moves. Injustice could associate the moveset variations with other characters or Alternate world versions.

So, we could end up with a Regime Superman with different special attacks from the main Superman, but without becoming an actual separate character.

Speaking of, I'd also like to see better aesthetics, a more colorful, vibrant art style, smoother animations, and much better, memorable music. And of course, MUCH better character design all across the board.

Bigby Wolf and Hellboy as guest characters would be nice too but those are probably not going to happen.

Considering how NRM has been producing content as of late, what we can expect from Injustice 2 will be what we received with MKX, and that's something I just don't want honestly.

I'd rather have something akin to SFV, in that the core focal point is on the competitive nature, the 1v1 online aspect, while a real attention to detail is put on the single player campaign, which will feature a robust cast of DC Characters and classic voice actors.

Release a steady stream of characters and costumes each month, building up the online and all that jazz, the same way a MOBA would.

You could even include additional campaigns, where most battles are essentially just reskins of previous battles, with a different story.

Imagine dlcs that include an entire campaign centered around one character, like the "story modes" of old.

I agree with these.

The thing about Zatanna is that she should really be more of a ranged, tricky fighter. She had some good ideas in the first game but a poor execution. That and I feel like magic users should be in their own 'class', being able to manipulate the environment in a different way than other characters. Instead of picking up shit and throwing them, they should move it from afar.

Speaking of interactibles, they should be blockable ffs.
