People generally started to turn on the show after not what he seems. When season 2 started, people welcomed it with open arms and singing it's praises, saying about how it was so much improved over season 1 (especially since they seemed to have resolved the Wendy crush thing fairly early on in the season.)

Yeah, I can see that. One of the biggest gripes I see is how goddamn horrible the pacing was. And how a lot of characters and recurring characters and characters who should have had more screentime (or screentime at all) were just left to mill about until a punchline or something.
