Continuing the Chronological Mignolaverse with Liz Sherman's first official outing with the BPRD.

This one does have flashbacks but I decided to leave them cause they are woven so closely with the story. Maybe next time I'll chop em up
It was probably in the last thread, but I love that panel of Hellboy visiting Liz when she's in BPRD containment and giving her a lollipop. Mignola is just great

Actually I forgot to move that one to where it should be. But I'm doing it right now
I wonder if we're ever going to see what they put Hellboy through

Must've been some heavy stuff.Although he grew up under the porffesors care so i doubt he had that much of a hard time
>>83258582
It was probably a lot of medical tests, blood drawings and stuff like that

SATAN TRIPS,THEN IT IS TRUE!!
OP thank you for doing this. Here is a question or rather idea: Hellboy and Abe are 2 sides of the same coin. One is rational the other one acts on instinct.Basicaly Abe is the In to hellboys yan?
This is my first Abe-focused story and I'm loving it so far.

A lot of the Abe stories are good, lately they haven't been that great but #30 is possibly one of the best stories in the whole Mignolaverse
crazy how this storyline is still super relevant to Abe's current book

When you read The Corpse for the first time did you think it would be important?
>>83261232
even Mignola didn't think the Corpse would be that important when he wrote it
Does anybody else reallly want to be a BPRD agent?
>>83261952
one of the best pages
>>83261963
No, they die like a lot.
>>83261963
red shirts die less gruesome deaths
>>83262031
I don't think I remembered that Mignola didn't draw this story, maybe that's why he wanted to bring him back in Hell
>>83262352
i feel like Mignola's really moved away from Kirby dots in recent years
>>83262372
Naw, he totally used them in the Hellboy in Hell where he explains what happens to Edward Grey
>>83262413
huh, so he does. still he's definitely toned it down
One more thread?
>>83261362
This page highlights one of the reasons why I enjoy the Mignola-verse, and how it manages to be gritty yet not edgy. These characters aren't superheroes, they're employees. In one these recent threads, someone commented how people just nonchalantly die and no one really gets the send-off they deserve. And I think that shows that after everything, they're just people. Even the chosen one goes out in a whimper.

I hope I did not miss Hellboy in China. Or is that a story not yet published?
