That's Spider-man fighting Morlun, an immortal multiversal super-vampire that feasts on spider-men (and other animal-men). He showed up to feast on Peter. Peter gives it everything he's got and puts every ounce of strength he had into beating the ever loving fuck out of Morlun, until finally he couldn't fight any more. Then Morlun ended up not even taking a scratch from Spider-man giving it his all.

JMS Spider-man. End of his first arc, and one of my favorite Spider-man stories.
Amazing Spider-Man (Volume 2) #35 (by J. Michael Straczynski, John Romita Jr. and Scott Hanna) is this one.

The top one is a moment in Daredevil where DD fights a guy with identical powers to him after meeting tons of blinded guys with super-senses after an unknown villain keeps trying to "replicate" Daredevil.
Ikari (the guy in the pic) is constantly kicking Matt's ass, and then Matt realizes he must not have full control over his powers yet (he's only had them for a few days at most) and so goes into a shop and turns on the fire alarm and sprinklers, which messes up his radar, smells, and hearing, hoping that since he's more used to his senses he'll be able to pinpoint the guy while Ikari remains blinded as he reaches for a baseball bat.

Ikari then reveals at that moment that he is NOT in fact blind and has every single sense Daredevil has plus regular sight on top of it.

The new Cobra, in IDW's modern GI Joe was basically a culmunation of all post 9-11 conspiracy theories (where almost every criminal act and major corporation is tied to terrorism, but no one really knows it). GI Joe had theorized about Cobra existing, but even they had a hard time really finding any proof.

When they finally GOT proof, before they could alert their higher ups, Cobra beat them to the game, became public as a charitable organization and shared all THEIR information about GI Joe, which while 'good guys' is MASSIVELY illegal (basically sending soldiers into friendly countries and giving them license to do whatever they want). It caused a huge public outcry against this government-sanctioned hit squad and made people rally behind Cobra, who successfully sold themselves as the good guys.

The book is Crossed: Badlands. The titular infected usually can only think of brutally murdering/raping/eating whoever they can. Smokey is one of the rare few that either has enough brain damage or enough evil in them that they are almost as intelligent as they were before.

The only reason the uninfected guy is sitting there without a dick in 30 new orifices is because he promised to show Smokey how to restart nuclear reactors and rig them to meltdown. He's been writing his thoughts of how to escape or to betray Smokey, thinking he still isn't smart enough to understand writing.

Smokey doesn't do anything about it, but it's never revealed if he just couldn't read or if he just thought the guy betraying humanity was too much of a bitch to go through with it.

I wouldn't really suggest reading it. There's a couple half-decent storylines in Badlands, but most of the whole IP is just disappointing garbage that quickly changed from interesting idea to excuse to draw murderporn.

Cluemaster had Batman dead to rights. His plant was working, until the person who funded his plan decided, "Um nope."

You guys wouldn't last five seconds in a difficult situation.
I have personally killed dozens of runty failing puppies over the years with a shovel, ad blew my childhood dog's brains out when she got lung cancer rather than put MY responsibility as her owner in the hands of a vet. You people can't do anything at all because you grew up thinking you can just pay someone else.
Before I get shit about a "puppy mill", I live in squalor so I can afford the best food, supplments and medication and vet bills for my dogs and live off credit cards in between sales. My AKC inspector loves me. But puppies die, it happens and rather than let one I know is on the way out suffer, I bash and bury.

Yeah, doctors are gay. Never pay someone else to do what you can do yourself right?
I mean, you couldn't, you couldn't do anything and just ended up getting your dog killed but at least when you're looking back on it, sitting in that house that you built yourself, eating that food that you grew yourself, you'll have the chance to know that you didn't ask for help like a man before you die of polio.

All so they can linger on and endure an excrutiating agony for another six months to a year, unable to run, jump, play, or eat properly? Or pay $600 so your vet can give your doggy a pentobarbital injection so they can slip into not-quite-unconciousness and slowly suffocate to death when their lungs stop working?

The Court has been fucking with Gotham for a while and Dick's family was related to their family line of super-soldier assassin types (the Talons). It's the Godbutcher arc in Thor.
The dude hates gods because they never help anyone (His planet is like Australia except there's no food/water so basically the outback on a hot day)so he's gone around for thousands of years slaying every god he can for revenge and is about to wipe them from all existence. (When one thinks about it the Gods were probably too busy dying to him to help since time travel gets involved)
Then we get to this page where his wife accidentally points out that by this point he's an actual fucking god.
>>
>>83283042
Gorr was an alien pissed that the gods of his planet didn't really give a shit abut their worshipers. He had a shitty life and I think at one point his family died. One time, he discovered this kinda symbiote-like black sludge that he could use to kill gods, so he started a universe-spanning, multi-millennial deicidal rampage. After a while, when he noticed that it didn't get him anywhere, he kidnapped a god of bombs and forced him to devise a Godbomb that would kill all the gods everywhere and everywhen that he used other kidnapped gods to built.
Also, apparently, he subconsciously used the black sludge to recreate his dead family as anthropomorphic representations of his self doubt.
IIRC, that scene happened on the eve of the Godbomb's detonation.
It's from Aaron's Thor: God of Thunder #1-11, it's all pretty metal, you should read it.

The first page takes place in Illuminati hideout, where they have a bunch of bombs that can destroy a planet (because of Incursions, when Alternate Earth collide with each other). The blue chick wants to detonate one (she's in Thanos' crew, so really, no surprise that she's suicidal), so the guy activates i, but the giant dog is a teleporter and leaves her and the bomb on another planet.

One of them. He tricked Satan multiple times.
That's the first.
Then there's the time where he got three Hell Lords to cure his lung cancer (because he sold his soul to all three of them, they aren't willing to share, and if they went to war over it, Heaven would step in once the other two were beaten and wipe out the third, so they had to keep him alive before that could happen, and he responded by doing >>83262098)
Then he helped a Succubus who had already betrayed Satan hide on Earth, and because he tricked Satan three times, Satan was now duty-bound to take all of Constantine's punishment for his sins (Satan just killed the demon who tried to do that).
Then he had Satan killed by having said Succubus pretend to be an enemy of his, help Satan ruin his life, only to stab him in the back at the last moment, making her the new Satan.

And that's just in Garth Ennis's run.

There was a pretty good story about that... About Murdock defending a teenager accused of satanism and murder (I think infanticide) in a small town

It's fucking brutal, Daredevil figured outthe kid was innocent but could not prove it in court. The kid figured out his lawyer was Daredevil and begged him to put on his costume and jailbreak him. Begged him right on the electric chair while Murdock "watched" his execution.

>>
>>83293788
I've found that that's true literally every comic character out there. You have to judge them by how good their best moments are, and forgive them their poor moments. And in that light Ikari wasn't so bad.
>>
>>83293912
Part of the problem is that these interesting characters pop up in story arcs revolving around other characters. Ikari's big 'oh shit' was part of Bullseye's revenge. So he can't really win.

And there's the general trepidation writers have about trying to push a new villain. Because if they have Ikari come back and start kicking ass people might go 'muh muh bullseye' or 'muh muh elektra' or whatever.

Comics thrive on the traditional.

That whole series just scared the shit out of me when I first read it. I always find apocalypse stuff like that really upsetting.

This page and all that came after it. Just... Say what you want about Alan Moore but he makes an Edgelord like Kid Miracleman into one of the most legitimately horrifying villains of all time.

Basically, the heroes of the story have been fighting something called the Gentry who are shown to be beyond difficult to defeat. But the heroes do and they chase the fleeing Gentry to finish it. Then they find out that the Gentry that they fought actually are just part of an even larger army and that this being 'Empty Hand' who has the power to destroy entire multiverses commands them.

Yeah, and this dude is very possibly "The 'Most Final Boss Bad Guy' of the DC Universe Ever". And knowing Morrison, there might be someone even more powerful than him, but that's just my speculation.

It is the story where May gets shot but his identity is revealed independently and that (and the marriage) is the main reason form OMD, May is just a plot device to make it happen
