No, it's the Oliver and Company.

I never watched it cause the local goth/emo kids were hyped as hell about it. These were also the same people that Larped as vampires at all times of the fucking day, so I basically avoided everything they talked highly of.

Its not bad but again its Disney so it got the shaft of being over advertised, being catered immediately to kids and adults who wanted to shut their kids up [count how many trailers where you didn't see the Hamster screaming "LET IT BEGIN!"]

It was made to be cheap, fast, and throw away flick to fill their yearly quota of getting something in theaters.

I actually knew about it since it came out, but it's mostly because I'm religiously follow the work of Robert Picardo (who had a came role).

I don't think it was too bad, but it wasn't impressive enough or well marketed enough to bank on what made Roger Rabbit an icon.

I actually saw this. Basically, Mars kidnaps moms to extract their ability to raise children and put it into robots to raise their children for them because they're too unruly. Then they kill the moms off one by one and repeat the process when the martian children inevitably destroy the robots. The main character learns all this from a man-child living on Mars who saw this shit happen to his own mother and decided to be a bitch instead of exacting revenge for a planet that commits genocide on a regular basis.
They meet a "good" martian and through some hi-jinks learn that they also exiled the Martian men because they were too fun-loving and wacky. With the help of said men, they save the main characters mom and exact revenge on the Martian matriarch who started the whole thing by forcing her to change dirty diapers. The kids returns home, the man-child decides to go back to Mars and live with the "good" martian because she's a girl or something, and everyone lives happily ever after except the mothers who all got killed because a martian leader couldn't be bothered to deal with wacky dad-martians or children.

it was cute, but it was kind of low risk movie, shit didn´t get real where it could.

I was expecting a movie about a super dog and some shit, welp, FUCK trailers.

the only think I found a little bit weird, characters didn´t seem to know if they wanted to act like humans or like pets, maybe because in early versions they were anthros like in zootopia.

what is it really about
> Dog is a "movie star" in an action series
> He has an owner (girl voiced by Miley Cyrus years before she became a depravated freak of nature)
> his studio did what they could to make the dog believe every single scene in the action movie was actually real, they made him believe the girl was in real danger, to make his acting more believable
> he never got the chance to be a simple dog with his owner
> one day the girl goes for a trip and the dog thinks she was kidnapped, he goes after her
> has absolutely no knowledge of how to be a dog, being hungry, or hurt, he also thinks he has superpowers

middle of the movie
> meets (kidnaps) abandoned girl cat, confusing her for a villain of the show, and forcibly drags her around, thinking she can lead him to where the girl is.
> meets "funny sidekick" hamster which is not really very funny, he also thinks the dog has superpowers
> animal control captures cat, after motivational speech from hamster he goes after her and rescues her gaining her trust, at this point he finally gets he has no superpowers
> the three go along on a road trip trying to find his owner, in this trip, cat teaches dog how to do dog things he never got the chance to do before

2/3
>>
>>83225098
turning point spoilers
after days traveling together Mittens (cat) "proposes" Bolt so they could live together, thinking that the Penny (owner) was just acting his love for him (because she was an actress) she puts him against the wall between living with her or continue the trip after the girl, he chooses to keep looking for Penny and they part ways, arriving at the studio where she works, Bolt sees her playing with a dog that is identical to him and gives up thinking he was abandoned and replaced, meanwhile Mittens after being convinced by the hamster to go after him, goes to the studio to find that the girl still misses her "old" dog

3/3
>>
I know it wasn't completely just animation but
>>
>>83225424

ending
after being told by Mittens that his owner didn´t forget about him, Bolt goes after Penny in the studio, however, a big fire happens while she was inside, he finds her, but as he is nothing but a normal dog, he can´t do shit to save her in the middle of the fire, so he stays next to her to die by her side, in the last moment, he uses his "superbark" (a power he though he had in the beginning of the movie) to alert people that they are there, leading them to be saved, in the end, the girl abandons the actress career and her and her mother move to the contryside to live with her dog and her two new pets

>cameos of various alt sport stars, maybe a quick Bam Margera/Jackass cameo

Not so much a kid's film.

Berkeley Breathed had a great OP/ED where he talked about what it's like to see one of your creations completely chewed up and shat out by Hollywood.
>>
>>83231374

Wow. David Cross' character looks pretty cute.
>>
>>83240817

This hasn't been forgotten, though.

It haunts the subconscious of far too many people.

I saw it when I was four.

Never again.
>>
>>83192102
I've shown it to 50+ people, all of them loved it
>>
>>83239050
I remember it faintly.
It involved Tony Hawk in a chicken suit and an executive trying to run away from his evil brother on a penny farthing.
It was on TV on Cartoon Network
>>
>>83240502
Shoot, I have a ton of these kinds of movies on VHS from when I was younger
>>
>>83195966
After all that hype I've still never sat through this beginning to end. It's just really fucking boring
>>
>>83188922
I watch this movie every time I got to my sister's house.
Its pretty good. But I think the title is why its so forgotten.
Blue Sky makes some decent films when they aren't making ones for sequel bait.

Also I remember an animated film from my childhood but can't remember the name to save my life.

>boy does something bad
>gets turned into a bird
>wild adventures with a mentor bird who is fascinated with humans
>mentor discovers alcohol and becomes a prick.

That's all I recall. The art style reminded me a lot of all dogs go to heaven.

Can someone name a CG animated sci-fi film for me? It was about an astronaut going to an alien planet and the alien planet looked basically like the 1950s but with aliens. The alien military wants to capture the astronaut but he hides in some teenager alien's room.

Saw it on TV once, but can't find any info on it.
