Heh, you aren't wrong.
I like to buy 'em, only problem is buying a shitty one.
With clingwrap and an Elmer's glue stick.

Do i smell a fukken edge lord?
I use one piece of tape
Fold the tab into the bag. Fuck spending time/effort with tape.
fucking silverfish are eating my books
>>83169430
Silverfish freak me right the fuck out
>>83169388
I'm sure that's how you're supposed to do it. I've seen so many people use fucking sellotape and ruin the bags when they try and open them again

One strip master race reporting. Vertical or horizontal?

Look, I once had a leak come down right on top of a little magazine holder thing of comics. The ones with taped flaps? Needed new bags, otherwise fine. The ones with the flaps just bent down or tucked in? All wavy and ruined. Get your ass an airtight seal.

>Not storing your comics in a polystyrene box
You asked for it
>>83169750
I WAS TEN.
>>83169709
It's a mix of both it depends on how long the tape strip is
Does anyone else use these Post-It bookmark tabs to seal their books in their bags n boards?
>>83170011
I haven't though I own some. I worry that the tabs will stick out and give the tape a part that it can dry up from so it gets all cracky I guess.
>>83170056
I haven't noticed. I figured then being packed against each other helps. Though sometimes when putting them into boxes a few are a bit not flush and flip up if I catch the comic behind it.
I haven't sealed any of my paperback trades.

My old comic shop used to because he figured some fans are picky about it. He also used to bag all his floppies as a courtesy until it just got too costly.
>>83169709
I used to do that. I should go back and tape them up.
I also have some old ones from when I used to put them in open top sleeves for photos thay fit in binders and put them in binders in a bookshelf.
>>83167853
Pic related and scotch tape. Keep them all in boxes.
>>83167853
Basically just like that, strip of tape and all.
>>83169709
Single vertical strip, since you are curious.
I'm mostly just concerned about keeping it closed and contained. Just a piece of scotch tape is all I need. I'm not too concerned about damage to the bag, just the comic inside.
Strangely enough, I recently dug out some of the really old Valiant comics from Legend of Zelda that I had. I found out that the comic bags of today are too small.
>>83170837
That's why they make silver and golden age size bags

You and I are kin.
>Strangely enough, I recently dug out some of the really old Valiant comics from Legend of Zelda that I had. I found out that the comic bags of today are too small.
Yeah, golden, silver, and modern comics are different sizes, with some exceptions and differences depending on the publisher. Charlton spent a long time using a weird size printing press that had originally been used for cereal boxes and were a different size from everything else being published!

A strip of scotch tape about two inches long.
