It's absolutely fair to say a fan of the show wouldn't be interested in Rebirth. The CW's never bothered to reconcile the show with the comic books. Arrow is its own thing. They even have different endgame love interests, when many would say Green Arrow/Black Canary is the only acceptable ship.

Honestly. I think this season is the last one with Felicity as the love interest.
The way Laurel went out is just far too suspect. Not just that she died but how the show highlighted how great Oliver's and Laurel's relationship was at the same time as the show highlighted how Oliver's and Felicity's relationship has some serious issues.

She's coming back one way or another. And when she is she will likely be the end game.
